This tour is perfect for travelers who are not familiar with the Auckland CBD for eating establishments. We went to many local eateries and a farmer’s market showcasing local cuisine and fresh ingredients. We never would have known about these gems without going on this tour.

I loved loved loved this tour! The care that clearly went into choosing the stops, the clear comraderie between proprietors and the guides, the fascinating city highlights thrown in, the delicious food selections—my mouth is still watering. This is what food tours are about! I genuinely felt like I got to know Auckland and its incredible people through this tour. Great way to start and trip, and a special thanks to our tremendous guide—Kath! She went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure we enjoyed our tour. Kath was our food guide and she was fantastic! The information and food was excellent, some of the best food I’ve had from any country! Highly recommend, relaxing and great food.

Great experience our tour guide Kath was fabulous. She was not only knowledgeable about the food scene in Auckland but also an expert on the history of the city. The food was great. I advise you not to eat a big breakfast. We had a fun and interactive group of seven.

This was an amazing tour a totally new experience for me which I will do again. The food was delicious and the guides knowledge of all things food, Auckland and New Zealand was impressive. Since being on the tour I have visited 2 recommend spots and really enjoyed them. Things I wouldn't have done without the tour. Only warning is, you need an appetite so defo no breakfast needed. Go enjoy and doing the tour solo isn't a problem as you are in a small group and will enjoy the chat as well as the food.

I did like this tour but it was way too much food (more than a full meal, in total). Probably my fault for not fully reading the description. Kath, our guide, was great. Loved the farmer's market, could have stayed there for hours! The places we visited were great, just make sure you are really hungry when you start this tour!

The small group tour was excellent and provided good insight to some lesser known foodie spots in and around Auckland CBD. There was a good amount of food, which was all delicious. Our guide Kath was very knowledgeable and passionate about her job.

This was our third BigFoody tour in our third city and it was just as fantastic as the others! This was a driving tour instead of a walking tour like the others we have done, so we got to see quite a bit of Auckland. All the food was delicious and Laura was an incredible tour guide - informational, engaging, funny, and considerate of everyone's preferences. If I'm ever lucky enough to get back to New Zealand, I'll do more of BigFoody's well-organized, extremely fun tours. Highly recommend!
