Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us ample time at the Colosseum. Th meeting point was a little difficult to find using Google maps but we managed to find it.

There are huge crowds and some very difficult streets to navigate because of the large stones. The guide had very good visuals and provided lots of interesting information. Because of all the talking from different guides surrounding our group, it was difficult to hear the guide at times. Being aware of this scenario, if the guide spoke up with a louder voice, it would help to hear what he is telling us amid all the other conversations.

Compliments to our guide Alberto, in crazy heat he guided us with competence through the Colosseum, engaging the participants, including the little ones, and continuing through the forums to the wonderful Palatine Hill. Recommended!

I didn't understand that this tour didn't include everything at the Colosseum. The underground is not included. Very expensive not to include everything. However, our guide has a masters in art history so she was very knowledgeable. Very interesting history. Had I been better researched, I would have booked directly with the Colosseum or tour provider and included the underground. The ad implied it included everything.

Alessandro was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. A wonderful tour. Be aware that there are steps and ramos and hills. This tour is NOT for the faint of heart. Lots of walking, 3 full hours in the heat of summer (and we went at 4pm). Come prepared with a water bottle (there are plenty of fountains from which to fill it)! Highly recommend!.

Amazing! Gulio was an incredible guide. He was informative and engaging and kept the whole group together with ease. Spending extra for the arena floor was well worth it. Would highly recommend!

Booking very straightforward and instructions and directions for collecting tickets and meeting Guide and rest of the group were very clear. Our Guide (Astrid) was delightful and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Colosseum and Forum and other features of Palentine Hill. Perhaps too much information on occasions and an assumption that we were all of the same 'level' and intellect but she was very considerate regarding finding shade in extremely hot conditions. An incredible experience!

We had an excellent guide. Funny, smart, and kept us all interested on an extremely hot summer day. Though I had wanted the Underground/Full experience tour, it wasn’t available, but I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. A great way to spend the morning in Rome!
