This was a great day!! Nello was our driver/ guide! He was so friendly and funny!! We laughed so hard!! The lunch was very delicious and so was the wine!! Stopped at several places to do some shopping! The experience was fabulous!! Highly recommend this experience!!

Overall this is a good way to see the Amalfi Coast, which I think is a must do when in Sorrento. Nello our driver (this is not a guided tour) was good and clearly knew how to get around safely on the very busy roads. Rather disappointingly we were told the lunch was cancelled half way through our trip due to the restaurant not ‘operating’. We were given 20 euros each to cover the cost. We quickly discovered that other travellers on our trip had not booked lunch so it became clear that we had been out on a tour that was not as advertised! This felt very disingenuous but nothing we could do at that point. Nello had also said he would stop for photographs at two specific locations on the way back but drove straight past them. We also had the obligatory unplanned stop at a ceramics shop on the way back to try and sell unwanted goods.

Just to clarify, our shared tours include guests who book with or without lunch, so it is normal for passengers to have different options. The €20 refunded was the price difference. Unfortunately, the restaurant was unexpectedly closed on the day, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience. We’re also sorry about the missed photo stops, which is unusual for us. The ceramics stop is optional and also provides the only convenient toilet stop after leaving the coastal road. We hope you still enjoyed your day along the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
The Amalfi Coast is so amazing. Our guide Claudio who picked us up from our hotels was very good and pointed out lots of interesting things. We took an optional boat ride in Amalfi and it was fantastic! It gave you a view from the water that was unbelievable. The lunch was at a restaurant in Ravello with an amazing view from the table. A well managed tour and great guide!

First of all, Antonio, our driver and tour guide, was great. No complaints at all about him. He had some great insights and gave us some history facts throughout the entire tour. Our Mercedes van was horrible. The air conditioning was not cold. If you’re going to cram 8 grown adults into a van when you are having record heat, get a bigger vehicle that has a working air conditioner. Group size should be smaller. Again, 8 grown adults stuck in a hot van is not appealing nor comfortable. Lunch was great. Positano and Amalfi were so crowded and busy. Couldn’t wait to leave. Ravello was nice but were only given 30 minutes. The drive is not for anyone who gets motion sickness. The worst part of it all, the group of people we were with. This was the first tour that we have EVER been on that we were entirely annoyed and disappointed with the people that accompanied us. They were incredibly rude and selfish. Remember this is a group tour for everyone, not just yours.
