Mixed experience. The scenery was amazing and worth it just for the walk around the rim. Lots of people (tourists), rubbish, and cigarette smoking by other trekkers tarnished the experience. Also didn’t get breakfast that was advertised. Hot springs were so so …. Commercialised and busy, but still nice to soak in the hot baths with a complimentary drink. The guide was excellent. All in all, worth the experience…. Though difficult to really enjoy the awe and wonder. Could have slept in as well… had to wait 40 mins at the top before any light because we were fit (Took 70 mins to walk up)

At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience regarding the breakfast box being left in the car and not served at the summit as advertised. This is not the standard we aim for, and we have addressed this directly with our team to ensure it does not happen again.
We also understand your comments regarding the crowds, rubbish left by other visitors, smoking on the trail, and your experience at the hot springs. While some of these factors are beyond our direct control, we completely understand how they can affect the overall atmosphere and enjoyment of such a special trek. Regarding the waiting time at the top, we will also review the timing with our guides to better accommodate different fitness levels.

Worth getting up at 2am.
The view was incredible. Going up the mountain was a struggle for us though because we don’t exercise regularly so we had to stop every 2 minutes - but once we reached the top, it was all worth it. Going down the mountain was also exhausting as it was very steep but the scenery was gorgeous. In total it took 2 hours.

UNFORGIVABLE Hiking trip with lot of BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES!
Its was an experience !!
WHAT TO DO IF YOU FRIGHT LANDED IN BALI AROUND MIDNIGHT🤔🤔
👉 Got pick up from the airport at 1am and my driver (Putu) drive us all the way to Ubud to catch the amazing SUNRISE !
When we are at the foot of the mountain ...
Our Hiking guide ,also name PUTU!!!
( get to know that PUTU is the most popular name to name their kid😄)
Our hiking guide PUTU is great !
1. Know all the different routes to the top & back to the foot very well.
2. Very friendly and cheerful ,fun guy .
3. Know all the best spot to take amazing sunrise photo
4. Also a good mobile phone photographer !
5. But what really impressed us most is the
Altitude ! 👍 He treat us like long known friends although we only just get to know him at the foot of the mountain .
He even prepared breakfast for us when we reach the peak! ...
Steam banana spread onto white bread with all bread edges /side remove.👍
( he can don't do it as its not part of his responsibility since there are staff who will do the breakfast preparation )

LOOKING FOR A FUN, SAFE,
(photos/videos ) to bring home from Ubud Bail...
Just remember to look for PUTU !

Mount Batur hike
The trip was great ang going up to mount Batur was really worthy. The views were amazing! Kadek and his team were very patience and waited for us to finish the whole loop.
Kadek also took us to Ubud the next day. He was an excellent guide!
