パリセーヌ川乗り降り自由観光クルーズ

Saturday, 9/26 was our free day. Pope Leo was also in town. We were happy to find the boat to get around. I have never done a hop on hop off boat! It was also beautiful day.

Everything was beautiful. Easy to book and easy to contact for any concerns. The sights were breath taking. The crew was very nice.

A great way to avoid crazy traffic and city noise cruising along the river. Stops are very close to several major attractions and well marked. A good use of Trip Advisor credit as Batobus is a little pricey. The electronic ticket bought ahead worked perfectly.

Incredibly hot and uncomfortable. It was only in the 80s that afternoon, but the seating area was unbearably uncomfortable because the boat's design allowed no breeze through the front of the boat. I told the crew in no uncertain terms that it was too hot and they did nothing. They may not have been able to do anything. It seems to be just a really badly designed boat. It absorbs heat through the glass tops and allows no airflow through the front from the forward motion of the boat. The partially retractable panels on the top did not help. The front was all solid glass panels that could not be moved down to make the ride more comfortable. Really disappointing. We bailed out after two stops and didn't return. Waste of money.

Expect CHAOS. I had a horrible experience. Instead of instructing payees to meet after entering the venue and going through security they advised to meet at some obscure location (for someone new to Paris) AND did not have anyone holding a flag identifying the Activity Provider (Adventour). ALL this among a throng of tourists and "marathoners". I called Viator's customer service the night before complaining that I was not able to download a ticket (or QR code) and was told I might get that from the guide. After 40 minutes or more being on the phone with customer service I received NO resolution of the matter. I was told they were unable to contact the Activity Provider (AP). Frustrated, I decided to buy a ticket at the venue's ticketing booth. If I can cite one good thing out this bad situation, I SAVED 50 euros (the amount I guess Viator and the AP would have split). At the venue I got the same experience (minus a guide) for 28 euros; instead of the 78 euros I paid Viator. One can always use BING to scour for information concerning the Eiffel Towe's history, etc.

Tickets did not come in email. No refunds available so we bought new tix at the stop. Still a fun sightseeing tour though.

We enjoyed the hop on hop off boat. It allowed us to explore more. It was a nice comfy ride up the river. It was convenient. And I would choose them again!

This hop-on hop-off boat is a great way to get around and see all the sights. We had a great day! Highly recommend!

It’s a leisurely way to see Paris sights. You get off if you wish to see things up close. You could easily spend all day at certain sites but if you’re just looking to visit without an in depth look then this is well worth it.
