We had a great experience on our private tour to Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Palace, and Oberammergau. Our driver and tour guide, David, was excellent. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with throughout the entire day. During the drives, David shared interesting information about the area, its history, and each of the places we were visiting. It made the drive enjoyable and gave us a better understanding of what we were seeing. His recommendation for lunch was also excellent. Neuschwanstein Castle was amazing and definitely something you have to see in person. However, we actually enjoyed Linderhof even more. It is much smaller and feels more like a villa or royal home, but the interior was a definite wow. The detail and craftsmanship were incredibly impressive, and the grounds and gardens were just as impressive. The private tour made the entire day easy and relaxing. The on-time pickup and drop-off right at our hotel was also great and made the day even more convenient. We were able to sit back, enjoy the scenery, and let David take care of everything. Highly recommend this tour and especially David. Sit back, relax, enjoy the drive, and take in all the information and incredible sights along the way!

Tom picked us up promptly at our hotel, and took us to all of the destinations as expected. He waited in line for us while we explored shops to optimize our time on the trip. He knew how to navigate the parks to get us ahead in line. His car was clean, provided water and sat six people comfortably. Very knowledgeable and would book again!

A memorable day trip to Schloss Neuschwanstein with our wonderful tour guide Barbara who was warmth, courteous knowledgeable, passionate and professional. Highly recommended to have Barbara for your private tour. She got enthusiasm in her job and a heart to serve people. A private tour was good that we could do things on our own pace. Both the Fairytale Castle and the Linderhof Palace were worth visiting.

This was an amazing tour from start to finish. Although this tour was a bit pricey, we booked it in order to simplify the logistics of scheduling, taking public transportation, etc. This was especially important since we were traveling with a small group that included two 80 year olds. We were picked up right outside our hotel door. The only thing we had to worry about all day was being on time for our pickup. Once we stepped into the comfortable clean and well air-conditioned van, everything else was taken care of. What made this tour even better was our tour guide Mattis. Not only did he give us information about the history of the castles that we visited, he also chatted with us about German culture, regulations, and what it was alike to grow up and go to school right near the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. He was kind, helpful and considered the needs and abilities of the members of our group. In addition he was an excellent driver, providing us with a smooth and comfortable ride while demonstrating courtesy to other pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists. I have booked a lot of tours and experiences through Viator and this was by far the best! The convenience and personal touches definitely made up for the expense of the trip.
