We were picked up at our hotel in a comfortable van and driven to each castle, lunch , and Oberammergau. David was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. He even had thought to bring umbrellas for us- which we needed! We enjoyed being able to discuss King Ludwig and the history of the area between our stops. I highly recommend booking a private guided tour with David!

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel in Munich to the time David dropped us off, we had a fantastic day! He thought of everything, from water to candies to tissues to phone chargers. The ride in the van was super comfortable. David was extremely knowledgeable about the historical and cultural significances of the sites. He’s a wealth of knowledge! From start to finish, everything was seamless and tailored perfectly to our needs. David is a walking encyclopedia—his knowledge of Bavarian history, architecture, and culture added so much depth to the experience. This was an awesome tour experience. Aiman is super knowledgeable and very kind with a great touch for maximizing your experience. From pointing out additional aspects not discussed in the castle tours to knowing the best vignettes for photos he really makes it a seamless experience. We also had a fantastic lunch of traditional German food. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone! It is well worth the money and time.

David was our private tour guide and everything from the admission tickets, lunch, and transportation were arranged seamlessly. David shared interesting history about the castles along the way. If we ever came back, we would travel again with David on another tour!
We booked this tour after reading so many great reviews. Aimen is a fantastic guide. We were lucky to have a perfect Spring day for our visit. His Mercedes van is immaculate and he provides water and snacks. He had the day well organised so we could see everything on the itinerary in good time. He has a wealth of knowledge and provided a clear historical background about king Ludwig II, and the local area. He is very accommodating to personal needs or preferences. My husband is slow on stairs, so he arranged for us to enter Nueschwanstein a few minutes before our tour time so we didn't feel rushed. We caught the shuttle bus up and had a horse carriage ride down. He has a few short cuts up his sleeve, and even though there were a lot of people about, we never stood in crowds or queued. I highly recommend his tour, as we also had a photo stop by lake Plansee, we visited Linderhof Palace, and saw Oberammergau on our way back to Munich.
