A wonderful, peaceful experience exploring the waterways north of Vaikom by houseboat and canoe, both completely non-motorized. It was a beautiful immersion into nature and the quiet, traditional life along the backwaters.
Our guide, Gowri, made the experience truly special with her warmth, charm, and wonderful knowledge of the region. She shared fascinating insights into local traditions such as coir making, took us to a spice farm, and introduced us to the rich flora and fauna. The delicious traditional lunch sadhya was an added delight!
A wonderfully serene and environmentally friendly way to experience the backwaters. Highly recommended!

An immersion into the life of the inland waters of Kerala
Tour with houseboat and canoe, both non-motorized, in the area north of Vaikom. Very well organized, it is an immersion into nature and the quiet life that takes place along the waterways. Our guide Gowri shared with us her deep knowledge of her land, giving us lots of interesting information about the traditions, flora, and fauna of the place.
