Small but well-kept museum, with original machinery and clear and engaging explanations. Admission is free and the visit is suitable for all ages. Even the pasta factory, located outside, deserves: for a small cost for hygienic dressing, the Welcoming is great and the explanations very interesting.

Morelli Pasta - a Delicious Piece of History
Our Artisan food business recently sponsored a culinary immersion trip to Italy. We visited Morelli pasta and had a pasta and wine tasting following the tour of the facility. The experience was fantastic! We got to see the process, learn the difference the Morelli family has long been committed to and then a taste of the product with wine and friends - a perfect afternoon in Tuscany! Thank you fo your hospitality!

Fascinating insight
We chanced upon this by trawling Trip Advisor for places to visit while we’re here. What a lucky find!
They have a vast array of equipment used back in the 1860s through to more recent years. It’s quite incredible to think whilst the UK and other parts of the world had mechanised some processes, Italy had assistance with equipment such as they have in the museum but it all involved some human intervention to operate it.
Vanessa gave us a personal tour, taking the time to explain the equipment and processes.
It’s a fascinating place to visit and we’ll be back to sample the menu when the restaurant above is open (we visited on a Monday when it’s shut).
Grazie mille Vanessa.
