Slow boat ride along a short piece of the Canal. Short commentary on the construction of the Canal in French and English for half the trip.

Huge disappointment: in the presentation, they proudly repeat to you in their ads and in capital letters "UNESCO Canal du Midi"... in reality, a very limited 2km route one way (that's why they go very slowly). Visibly they don't have the authorizations to navigate elsewhere, too bad. All this on a very DIRTY and disgusting part of the Canal du Midi, near the train station, between the drug addicts, the punks with dogs, the migrant tents, the bums who greet you with an 8.6... , and everywhere piles of trash of all kinds: mattresses, cans, syringes (be careful with children!)... All surrounded by urban roads (hello noise and pollution) and uninteresting buildings... very far from the "relaxing and refreshing break" advertised. You will not see anything of the center of Toulouse or any site of any tourist interest. The return is done in reverse... so you will delight in the gasoline and oil fumes from their horrible noisy engine... Really, walk around Toulouse, it will be much more pleasant and you won't spend your money unnecessarily. The waitress-guide is quite mediocre, lacks general knowledge, nothing special. It seems like she is there to show off.
