Got collected at the meeting point bang on time. First couple of drinks gave the opportunity for everyone to engage with each other. Our three guides Tom, Carol & Sherlock were very welcoming, fun, engaging and great to be around. The experience itself despite the warnings was one of my best experiences whilst in Rio! Rules were set clearly too. Highly recommended A*
It is an interesting tour, but it’s not a party tour. It’s most like a walking tour without any guide intervention around a favela. You will not enter anywhere and you don’t end up in a favela party. You end up in a street around 2 am and the guide gets you back out
We booked this bar crawl but had a very difficult time finding the meeting point and ultimately missed the tour. When I spoke with the guide, he said he would give us a refund. I followed up afterward, but I haven’t received the refund and can no longer reach him. It was frustrating to miss an experience we had paid for, and even more disappointing that the promised refund hasn’t been resolved. I hope the organizer provides clearer meeting instructions and follows through with guests when an issue comes up.
Tom Sherlock and Carol were incredible. We felt so safe and watched over all night, and the views, vibes and music were nothing like I’ve experienced in my life! 10/10 would recommend and do again.
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The whole night was exceptionally well organised, and our guide was fantastic. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. If you’re looking for a unique night out and want to experience Rio beyond the usual tourist spots, this is definitely worth doing.
I loved the experience, I felt super comfortable and taken care of by the guides. I had a lot of fun, met lovely people, and I carry the experience in my heart, thank you, thank you, and thank you again.
