Absolutely phenomenal experience with an amazing host! Well researched and delivered, keeping you intrigued the entire time. Amazing value too! Simply cannot recommend enough.

We had a fantistic evening tour with Niall. He is super friendly and knowledgeable. Organisation was easy for our family of 5. Would recommend this tour for sure.

Really good tour, the guide was really friendly and certainly knew what he was talking about. My family enjoyed hearing the ghost stories as well as the castle history. As a fan of the Shogun TV show, it was good to find out the differences and similarities with the real history. I would recommend any day, the tour was also family friendly, but might be a bit scary for younger kids.

The tour was awesome! Your man Niall was a great guide, really knowledgeable about the castle history and Japan in general. There were great places to take photos too, Niall even grabbed a few pics for us. Honestly it was a great tour, we had a good laugh aswell along the way.

The tour was fantastic! Our guide Neil was very likable and made sure that everyone in our group felt comfortable. Walking around the castle at night and learning more about its history was a great experience. The castle looks really impressive and eerie in the dark. Neil combines ghost stories and history really well, so the tour has a great balance. I would describe myself as a skeptic, but even I got really spooked at one point – maybe it was Neil's storytelling or something more eerie after all... My husband and I really enjoyed the tour and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka.

This tour was better than we even thought . Niall was absolutely lovely even when we messed up the meeting place. He was very knowledgeable with everything to do with Osaka castle and surrounds. We had a few weared things happen when we were walking around on the tour which was unexpected. 100% recommend doing this tour.

The whole experience was very informative and engaging, my wife said she felt chills and wasn't sure if it was from the area or from the story telling! Our guide was amazing from the get go, the meeting place was ideal and we were guided very naturally to all the best picture spots along the way. I would highly recommend you do this with your time in Osaka, not only do you learn the history you can feel the weight of it around you and get a sense of the lives lived at the castle

Niall met us outside the castle and kicked off the tour with the basic history of Osaka and the area where the castle is located. Then he took us on a guided tour all around the castle grounds, stopping at various locations to talk about history associated with the castle, construction techniques, and both historical legends and spooky experiences both he and members of his tour groups have had! 👻 It was thoroughly entertaining and Niall was a great guide who did an excellent job of answering our questions and catering to our interests. He guided us to serval good locations to take photos and was kind enough to take pictures of our family when we asked. One tip: if Niall recommends using bug spray (which he had on hand for the tour) take him up on the offer! There are plenty of mosquitoes on the ground during summer.
