歴史と反乱と落ち着かない精神にまみれた戦場 大阪城は、日本で最もドラマチックな戦争の舞台の一つであり、まさにゴーストツアーの凍えるオープニングアクトとして機能する理由です。 豊臣秀吉によって1500年代後半に築かれたこの要塞は、武家時代における最も血なまぐさい紛争の一つ、大坂の陣（1614年～1615年）の舞台となった。 豊臣氏が滅亡すると、塀の中や周辺で数千人の兵や郎党、民間人が犠牲となった。 民俗学では、突然の非業の死が形作る場所は精神的なエネルギーを閉じ込めるといい、大阪城は教科書的なケースだ。

Teri was a great guide! Very informative and personable. The tour itself was haunting. Learned a lot about Japanese history (1500-2000). My favorite story was about the phone booth.

This was such a fun way to explore Osaka and learn about the dark history of the places we visited. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, Teri was so approachable, answered all our questions and definitely told us some spooky stories. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Osaka, such a great way to spend your evening!
If you're visiting Osaka and looking for something a little different from the usual tourist checklist, the Osaka Ghost Tour is an experience I would highly recommend, especially for families with older children who enjoy a good story. We joined the tour hoping to discover a side of Osaka beyond the bright lights, shopping streets, and famous food spots, and it exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Terri, was absolutely fantastic. She has a wonderful way of blending the rich history surrounding Osaka Castle with the city's fascinating urban legends and ghost stories. Rather than feeling like a history lesson or a haunted attraction, the tour struck the perfect balance between educational, entertaining, and just spooky enough to keep everyone engaged. What really stood out was how Terri brought the stories to life. As we walked through the area, she connected historical events, local folklore, and modern-day sightings in a way that made us see Osaka from an entirely new perspective. Even our family members who are usually difficult to impress were captivated from start to finish. And if you're lucky, you may even experience a few "sightings" of your own. We certainly had a couple of moments during the evening that left us wondering whether there was more to the stories than mere legend. Whether it was imagination, coincidence, or something else entirely, it added an unforgettable layer to the experience. The Osaka Ghost Tour gave us something increasingly rare while travelling: a genuinely unique family memory. Long after we've forgotten which shops we visited or what train we took, we'll still be talking about the stories, the atmosphere, and the mysterious moments we shared together that night. A memorable and enjoyable experience that offered a completely different perspective on Osaka. Thank you, Terri & Osaka Ghost Tours, for making it one of the highlights of our maiden trip to Japan.

Such a unique experience! The route was beautiful at night, and the stories gave me chills in the best way possible. Our guide Teri was the best! I loved how she combined real historical events with Japanese folklore, ghost stories and many more. I was looking over my shoulder for the rest of the evening!
Love love love this tour with Teri. She knows so much, about what she tells and the questions i had. I got the chills with some storys she told. And it was nice to know more about the place we went. Ghost story's, urban legende and some historical fact she told. Would really recommend this tour. But beware that it can be really creepy. But i love that.
Great tour with history, ghosts, urban legends and the darker side of Osaka. Our guide was fantastic! Loved seeing some off the beaten track areas. Sorry to have scared you with my dowsing rods! 👻🫣. Definitely recommend this tour. Even caught an odd photo at the castle gates. Didn’t see anyone at the time and snapped 2 photos at the same time…
One of the most unique experiences we had in Japan. This wasn’t a cheesy haunted house-style attraction—it felt like walking through real stories and legends hidden within Osaka. The atmosphere was genuinely unsettling at times, and our guide, Teri did an amazing job blending history, folklore, and suspense. We were still talking about some of the stories hours later. Highly recommend if you want something different from the usual tourist activities.
