A decent experience and worth the money. This is not going to be the same spa experience as what you would receive on the cruise ship but this is Costa Maya…so set your expectations. You also won’t get the high pressure sales of the cruise spa staff, so that’s a bonus. My wife and i had very nice massages. Seemed many others were as well the day we were there. We would do it again for sure.

Located across the street from The Crazy Lobster restaurant, and about a 10 minute drive away from the cruise port, my husband and I were taken upstairs to an open-air room where our massage tables were set up. We could see the water from the 2nd floor location. The open curtains were blowing in the breeze, and the breeze kept us cool during our massages. For $35 each (plus a tip of $10 each), the massages were fantastic. We would most definitely stop here again for another massage. 5 stars.

Terrific, professional massage in Mahahual. The facility is indoors, with air conditioning, music and restrooms. I had the Swedish massage with Danial. Good amount of pressure, not a light touch. Same price as the many beach front massage operations but indoors and cooler.

This is one of the best massages I have had. Easy to get to from the port ($5 taxi). Super professional and accommodating. We both wore our 2 piece swimsuits and they move your top very discreetly. There is also plenty to do right behind the massage and its all water front.

First of all, the massage was decent. She definitely worked out some knots. However, the facility was sketchy. The room you get your massage is public, and there are 6 tables where several other people are getting massages. Also, my masseuse used way to much oil. There are several other vendors doing massages on the actual beach for similar price. (The beach in Mahahual is amazing. Lots of trees, shade and breeze) I recommend that over this experience.

If you’re headed to costa maya soon and wanting a massage, this is the place do to it! It’s indoors and a little more private than what they’ve got going on down at the beach. I booked an hour massage and really wanted longer and it was no problem changing it to a two hour session. Italia was my therapist and she is a gem! Two hours is a long time to work on a body and I felt amazing when she was finished! Maha massage was clean and pretty quiet considering the partying going on at the beach not too far away!

A truly amazing experience. Great massages, nice people, and a nice breeze from the ocean coming into the room! A must do!!

We visited Costa Maya for the day with our family and, after several days in the sun, wanted to do something different. We found Maha Massage after seeing a recommendation online and reading all the amazing reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! My daughter had a sports massage that’s helps with recovery, while my husband and I enjoyed Swedish massages, and we all treated ourselves to facials. Everything was incredibly relaxing, and it was honestly one of the best massages I've ever had. The location is peaceful and close to the beach, so the sound of the waves made the experience even more calming. I also loved the soothing aroma throughout the spa, it created the perfect atmosphere to unwind. If you're visiting Costa Maya and looking for a relaxing escape, I highly recommend Maha Massage. It was the perfect way to recharge, and we'll definitely be back!
