My wife and I went on mariner of the seas. The ship docks at around noon. We took a cab to pitaya Beach and a guy on the street helped us find pitaya Beach club. The Mahahual village is just that, a village which for tourist purposes is just one street with a few street side stores. It's quite un impressive. The pitaya club itself was decent, drinks were good. Santiago the waiter was good and pretty helpful. He speaks good English. The owner was friendly as well. I really liked the shrimp ceviche. My wife wasn't a fan of the chicken tacos. The lounging area was nice. The chairs were well maintained, the area has good shade and right across from the club. And The ocean views from here, if you look past the netted area, is quite beautiful. The massage therapists were nice and we enjoyed our massages. Nothing special but relaxing. The owner called the snorkeling guide once we reached the club. He took us to the boat a short walk away where we met Concho, the boat captain. Concho spoke decent English. It was just me and my wife for snorkeling that day, so we got Jesus's full attention. He was great and helped keep my wife calm, this was her first snorkeling attempt. The waters in Costa Maya is not very clear and snorkeling is just ok. If you can do it only in one place either Costa Maya or cozumel, I'd suggest doing it in Cozumel. Overall, I think if you decide to do an excursion in Costa Maya, pitaya club is a good choice.

Pitaya beach was a great little place. The fish tacos were great and drinks were great. They set you up on your own little loungers. Your massage is at your leisure. The vendors were a little pushy and come around constantly but it was fine. If you said no, they didn’t persist.

Great all around experience. Everything was perfect the snorkeling the massage the booze the food and all of the service.

It was the perfect day thanks to Pitaya! We walked into the cutest beachy hut, and it was super easy to check in, the staff was freiendlt and fast with everything. There was nice and clean chairs right in-front of the beach, the water was crystal clear. Snorkeling was a great experience and felt super safe, we even saw a sea turtle! Massage was great, right next to the chairs, and you just let them know when you are ready. Food and drinks were delicious and super fast with servuce! Will be doing Pitaya again for sure!

The staff was wonderful The massages were great. The food was very good and the drinks were fresh. The snorkeling crew was great and took us to a good reef to see some fish.. Location of the site was nice on the beach no fault of theirs, but too many pets coming along to sell their goods and interrupting you to buy things but that’s to be expected on the Mexican coast

It was very simple to navigate through the port to find the taxi’s. Once you arrive, they walk you right to your private spot! Massage was amazing and the spot provided shade as well as sun. Absolutely loved! Worth every penny

It was such a good time. All the things we got included was so worth it !!! The bar attendants and the owners were so nice !!

Be prepared for non stop constant harassment by local vendors. It didn't matter if you were asleep even. They wake you up. The drinks were average at best. Snorkeling was good and massage was good. The rest... stay away

Very easy to get there by taxi from the cruise ship port. The beach spot is very nice and the massages were great! Family owned and very friendly. Nice relaxing day overall

From the moment we walked in we knew we picked the best spot! No other places had service or chairs or the service that we experienced! We had other couples and family coming from other spots that they were disappointed in to find the one we pick to be perfect! Bathroom was well lit and VERY CLEAN! Family owned business that truly felt like we were at home with our own family! DO NOT BOIK ANYONE ELSE! This is a must experience!
