The company forgot to pick me up. Then offered my a different trip in the afternoon. We spend most of the time driving around Durres pickin people up and dropping them off.

Interesting!! A good climb up to "Castle " which we were told beforehand which my wife and I managed. She has COPD & I have arthritis in both knees! But we did it !!!. Great views and quaint churches. What we didn't know was the walk into town all downhill was a nightmare for me, played havoc with my knees. Glad to get to the bottom. We then went for lunch in traditional albanian restaurant, served lovely food and drink. Highly recommended, but be warned its a struggle if you have mobility problems

A must-do tour for the history of Albania and in particular, Berat castle/city. The fortress itself offered spectacle views of the valley and city below. Our guide Joseph did a wonderful job in relaying Berat’s past and in keeping the group moving at a reasonable pace. Most enjoyable.

Super nice trip with the best guide Xocef. Nice car for transport. Suitable information throughout the day with humorous inserts. We could have used more hours in the city.

My wife and I loved our visit to Berating Castle and the city of a thousand windows! The bus trip was a little rough (the bus seemed a little underpowered with the AC running and the driver definitely slowed down after dark), but the tour itself was great! Our guide, Daniel, provided interesting background on the major castle elements, answered all our questions, and graciously rolled with the “improvised” deviations of other guests. Walking through the alleyways of Berat was magical, and I wish we’d had several days to explore the city properly. The city is steep and the stone is slippery, so I was glad I’d brought appropriate footwear. I also wish I’d done more reading on the history of Berat prior to the tour - the number of groups who contributed to the castle and city architecture is dizzying (Ilyrians, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, Greeks, Communists, etc.). The city also has some of the quirkiest hotels and wine bars I’ve seen in Albania, and looks positively magical at sunset.

Terrible communication. Strung along, changed the time of the tour and then cancelled it. Wish they had been more upfront so we could have found another tour company. Never contacted us the night before of the day of. Had to contact them. Tried changing the time from 9am to 2pm before contacting me at 12pm to cancel completely.

I had a wonderful trip to Berat with Eni! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. The tour itinerary clearly stated that it included a visit to Lake Belsh. However, this part of the tour was omitted without any prior notice or explanation. Instead, our guide simply told us that visiting the lake was “not worth it,” that it would take too much time, and that we would return to the hotel earlier if we skipped it. This is not acceptable. I booked this excursion because it included Lake Belsh, and I was genuinely looking forward to visiting it. It is not the guide’s role to decide which parts of the advertised itinerary should be skipped based on personal opinion. Furthermore, while we were in Berat, the guide did not provide clear information about the amount of free time available for sightseeing. As a result, we were constantly unsure of how much time we had, which made it difficult to explore the town at a relaxed pace and fully enjoy the experience. I am very disappointed that the tour I paid for was not delivered as advertised, and I would appreciate an explanation as well as appropriate compensation for the part of the itinerary that was not provided.
