Felipe was my driver for this tour, and he was fantastic. During the ride, he shared so much about daily life in Colombia and their society, which I found absolutely fascinating. He gave me the perfect balance of great conversation and personal time to take everything in. The Salt Cathedral itself was absolutely breathtaking. Walking deep underground and seeing the massive cathedral carved entirely out of salt was unlike anything I have ever experienced. The architecture is stunning, and the lighting throughout the tunnels and chambers creates an almost otherworldly atmosphere. It is one of those places that photos simply cannot do justice. Did you know that it was all started and carved by miners? It is crazy to even think about it. Once you are underground, it is like a little city down there, which is pretty cool. Before heading to the cathedral, we stopped at a gift shop that Felipe literally drove the car right into for a tasting, which was both fun and educational. Tasting freshly prepared coffee right at the source was a real treat. This was also where I purchased my ticket for the Salt Cathedral, which was super convenient. A tip for anyone planning to visit: wear comfortable shoes, as there is a good amount of walking involved, and make sure to use the restroom before heading down into the caves. Trust me, you will be glad you did! Felipe made this tour truly memorable. He is warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing his country with visitors. I cannot recommend him or this tour enough!

DE: It was a super relaxed and cool tour. Felipe is a very reliable and funny guy, who also knows a lot and has photos of everything on his phone. Felipe adjusts superbly to one and has the right tip for all culinary wishes. The coffee tasting was also a great experience, you learn a lot about the different types and will get an excellent coffee to drink. All in all, it was a very successful day and I can only recommend this tour, would do it again at any time. English: It was a super relaxed and cool tour. Felipe is a very reliable and funny guy who also knows his way around and has photos of everything on his phone. 😂 Felipe adapts very well to your wishes and has the right tip ready for all culinary wishes. The coffee tasting was also a great experience, you learn a lot about the different types and will get an excellent coffee to drink. Edwin was our driver, and the journey was comfortable, safe and on time. Edwin’s English was excellent. From the moment we began, Edwin impressed us with his extensive knowledge of the Bogota and its surroundings. The Salt Cathedral, Zipaquirá together with drive out of the city was worth seeing. He made our trip more than just a drive. It became an enriching cultural experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone seeking not only transportation, but also a deeper understanding of Bogota from a local’s perspective.
