Genuine experience of Italian cuisine in Marilena second home in Monopoli. Charming assistant and special Thanks to Domeiqua

It was a fantastic experience. Our host Marilena was friendly, kind, calm, and very competent. We experienced wonderful hours in her lovely apartment. Heidi and Andreas from Switzerland

The wife had scheduled a cooking class in Monopoli and came across Marilena who hosts classes in her apartment. It was a very cozy setting and never felt tight with the other two participants in the class. After introductions Marilena talks about what we'd all be cooking and offers wine/appetizers that she prepared before the class (which I may add were delicious). For our class we were going to be making a spinach ricotta ravioli and handmade fusilli pasta. Thankfully Marilena had patience as my level of pasta making was not up to Italian standards but the class was all about having fun! The food was great and the conversation excellent. Such a great way to spend an evening in Monopoli after putting your new found pasta skills to work!

What a fantastic time! From the moment we entered Marlena’s home she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The entire night was filled with fun and laughter while learning how to make some of the most delicious food I have ever had. Marlena is an incredible teacher and was patient with all in the group as we were learning her craft. I would highly recommend this class to anyone that wants to learn how to make true authentic Italian food and have an enjoyable evening.

We had an amazing night with Marilena! With just four in the class we had personalized attention! What made ravioli as well as fusilli. The sauces were wonderful and the wine flowed. Tiramisu finished off the night. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the class.

Mariela is an impressive hostess & chef. She welcomed us into her home as if we were family & we prepared, cooked & ate a most delicious feast with wine and lively conversations. Amazing experience! Marilena made sure to find the right class for me as a solo traveler. I had so much fun learning how to make pasta and enjoyed talking with the fellow guests. The food came out delicious. Can’t recommend this experience enough!
