The olive oil tour and tasting was highly educational, well organized, and delivered in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the entire process. I learned not only about olives, but also the importance of sustainability in managing the operation. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested to learn more about olive groves and how to recognize quality olive oil (I learned that it’s not the color!) Thank you for a wonderful and entertaining experience. I will return!

Anne was brilliant, we initially booked a day which didn't work for her, communication from Anne was top notch and we found a day that worked for both of us. The tour itself was fabulous, Anne's knowledge of the local area and how she taught us was easy to learn thanks to her delivery with humour. We all learnt a lot about olives, trees and oil amongst the many other delights they grow. Lunch and tasting was again an education and delicious from the locally grown produce in season. To see the biodiversity farming approach working well and looking after and working with nature made my heart sing. A welcoming, thoughtful, educational experience and delicious too at the heart of their home and farm.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Boribel Olive Grove with Anne and her family. Anne was an amazing guide! Warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the land, the local community, and everything they produce. She taught us so much about a variety of different trees, plants and flowers. Anne and her family made us feel incredibly welcome with an amazing lunch consisting of an array of fresh produce from their farm, along with delicious locally sourced cheeses. The olive oil tasting was another highlight! Very informative, enjoyable, and a great way to learn how to appreciate the different qualities and flavors of good olive oil. Anne and her partner also make and sell luxury handcrafted soaps using the premium olive oil that they produce. I would highly recommend a visit to Boribel Olive Grove to anyone interested in olive oil, farming, local food, Andalusian culture, or simply having an authentic and memorable experience. I would happily return again!

Anne is such an incredible owner and guide. She has a lot of great knowledge based on science and nature and shows me step by step how they grow olive trees , manage the ground without using chemicals and harvest fruits to make every drop of olive oil. Their family also prepared the olive oil , breads , yummy jams from their farm for the delightful light lunch. I felt so much indulged . Definitely I will recommend to anyone who wants to experience the olive tree farm and taste the best olive oil!

We had a lovely visit here and got exactly the kind of tour we were looking for. It's a very pleasent concept without being too touristy and crowded. Boribel tried to create something authentic which I think there achieved quite well. They have a small farm where we walked around for a few hours while Anne was answering all our questions about olives. At the end, we tasted the produced olive oil and recieved some snacks that were also produced there or from the local neighbours. Depending on the month you'll see a different state of the farm. We went in April and the trees were blooming. We didn't see olives but that wasn't a problem. Sadly, the actual processing and pressing plant is also closed and only opens during a few month at the end of the season. So keep that in mind if that is what your are looking for.

I had an excellent experience at BoriBel with my family recently. We received a beautiful and informative tour of the olive grove and had a delicious and equally informative tasting. Anne was so warm and welcoming and knowledgeable and I would suggest anyone in the area to make a visit to BoriBel.

Our visit to BoriBel was the highlight of our multi generational family vacation. Anna and her family were warm and inviting. She provided an interesting and engaging history of the local town, her olive farm, and her passion for helping local farmers and merchants as we walked thru the olive grooves. After walking the farm we enjoyed an olive oil tasting and lesson on how olive oils are rated. We ended the afternoon with a delicious feast of homegrown fruits, homemade jams from fruits grown on the farm, local cheeses, bread, and a traditional Christmas dessert. Souvenirs of oil olive soaps were purchased and we ordered their fantastic oil to be shipped to the US. We enjoyed our time at BoriBel so much that my husband and I are thinking about returning during the olive harvest time to help harvest the olives. All 6 of us highly recommend a visit to BoriBel the next time you are in Costa del Sol.

Since we are growers ourselves from Sweden, it was especially interesting to learn about the challenges faced by growers in Spain. A big thank you for the wonderfully organized and insightful olive oil tasting — we truly appreciated your deep knowledge and the lovely way you guided us through it.

Visited with family and friends and had an amazing experience with a scenic view. We had a lovely time with the host who gave us an excellent and educated tour of this organic driven olive farm. Also great products! Especially the Olive Oil, jam and soap. Will definitely visit again, and maybe we’ll join in on the harvest next time.
