This tour is totally...
This tour is totally worth it! The guides (Luis and Beatrice!) were both locals and extremely knowledgeable about Belém. The groups were fairly small so it was easy to ask questions, and the opportunity to skip the lines at the tower and monastery is well worth it. Highly recommend booking with this group for a day in Belém.

Great guide, very informative
Stefano was a very engaging guide and very well informed about the Belem tower, its history and the role it played in the history of Lisbon. We happened to have a very small group, which gave Stefano a lot of time to individualize what he was telling us about. He also took a lot of very good pictures of us, which is nice to have someone else doing for you.

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, we would. Laila was an extraordinary guide who knew how to bring the history of the tower to life for us. A must-do!

Great way to learn history!
Anna was my tour guide and she was amazing. I also had her for the tour of the monastery with Pasteis de Belém tasting and it was great to get to learn so much about this time period from her. She has her PhD in history and her passion is one of the best parts of the tour. I learned so much and really felt like I could start to understand and get a taste for what work went into making the buildings happen, as well as what life was like at the time. She’s incredibly well research (obviously) and able to recall it all so quickly.
