Amazing food and lovely wine!! A beautiful experience, really recommend!!

This is a must experience Our hosts were knowledgeable and gracious. It was a wonderful typical delicious meal with excellent wines. You do have to arrange your transportation from Vlore It’s 45 min away. The host is gracious to help call a driver

Visited with my husband on our first trip to Albania. It was a charming little place and it was nice to get into the countryside away from the coast. The wines were not all to our liking - we preferred the rose - but we had a lovely lunch of traditonal Albanian meats and cheeses, byrek, fergese and bread. We didn't have a car so had to get a taxi, but that was easy enough from our hotel in Vlore about 30 minutes away. The visit doesn't nice include a tour, but you can walk around the grounds a little and enjoy the views. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Our visit to Kantina & Ferma Dukat was a bit of a mixed experience. There were certainly things we enjoyed, but there were also some challenges that I think are worth mentioning for anyone considering a visit. Our bus ride out to the farm started things off very well. The bus was clean, new, and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, and our driver did a great job. Our group consisted of approximately 35 people. When we arrived at Kantina & Ferma Dukat, we were warmly greeted by our host, Alexander. The property itself is charming, and the family story behind the farm is one of the things that makes the place special. It is clearly a genuine family-owned and operated business, and the people running it came across as sincere and hardworking. We were seated in a beautiful dining room that was nicely decorated and had a lot of character. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, and the room became quite warm. The acoustics were also challenging. With approximately 30 people inside, conversations quickly became very loud, making it difficult to talk with the people sitting at our own table. At the same time, there were approximately 20 additional guests dining outside. There appeared to be only two people serving everyone, and I believe this was where some of the problems began. The staff worked hard, but they simply seemed overwhelmed by the number of people they were trying to serve. We did get to sample some very good wine and homemade raki, although the portions being poured were quite small. Water was also provided, but the servers had difficulty keeping up with everyone’s requests. The food was okay, but unfortunately it didn’t stand out as exceptional for us. The grilled vegetables arrived somewhat cold, and the meat was a little tough and chewy. The homemade bread was very good, as were the potatoes served with the meat. The cost for the two of us was 8,400 lek, or approximately $91 USD. At that price, we were hoping for a somewhat better overall food and dining experience. That said, I don’t want the price or the shortcomings of our visit to overshadow what is genuinely appealing about this place. Kantina & Ferma Dukat is a charming little place with a great story. It is family owned and operated, and the hosts came across as genuine people who work hard and clearly care about what they are doing. My feeling is that they simply got overwhelmed by the size of our group. Trying to serve approximately 50 people with only two servers seemed to put the staff in a difficult position, and I suspect that a smaller group might have had a very different experience. Overall, we enjoyed the visit, but it didn’t quite live up to our expectations for the price. I would still recommend giving Kantina & Ferma Dukat a chance, particularly if you can visit with a smaller group. The setting, family story, homemade products, wine and raki are all worth experiencing.

Wonderfull scenery, great host, nice wines and great food (maybe skip breakfast)

Most authentic experience. Lovely farm on the countryside with a cosy restaurant with delicious food and really cozy atmosphere. The roads out there were a little hard to drive on but we got it to work. Good server and class service and best wine. Great recommendation from here.

Lovely place with great food and nice wine. Unique location in the middle of the wineyard with chickens and cats running around next to the tables. Attentive and friendly service. We were served a variety of traditional food that was very tasty as well as 3 of their local wines.
