Outstanding and informative guide who brought ancient history alive for our small group of teenagers to seniors. I would recommend to others without hesitation!

Really enjoyed our guided tour. Eni was brilliant and knowledgeable. Our boys were engaged throughout and loved it.

We’ve take a zillion tours like this over the years and our guide Eni was the best by far. Perfect English made it easier to focus on what he was saying about the Colosseum. Fun fact, it’s not at all what the movie The Gladiator or any of the other movies depict. Anyhow, Eni was really engaging. Somehow he remembered all 10 of our names in the group immediately and really included everyone by asking questions, including trivia into the mix. He often showed us depictions of Rome in its heyday from the exact same perspective we were standing at in real life. It was so cool and fascinating to learn so much. I’m a moron, so I’m sure I’ve forgotten a lot of it already, but you’re smart I’m sure and will remember a lot more. Book with these guys. Really small groups (max 12), rich story telling and incredibly knowledgeable. Best tour we’ve ever taken. Oh and we immediately booked another tour called ‘Drunken History Rome’ because now we know we picked the right guide.

We had a fantastic experience on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, easy to understand, and genuinely passionate about the history of the Colosseum. He explained everything in great depth, from how the Colosseum was built and operated to the many events that happened there throughout history. Any questions we asked were answered thoroughly and in an interesting way. He also had a great sense of humour which made the tour really enjoyable and engaging from start to finish. The illustrations and visual aids he showed us along the way were very helpful and made it much easier to imagine what the Colosseum would have looked like in Roman times. One thing we really appreciated was that the tour group was kept fairly small, which made the whole experience feel much more personal and relaxed. We were given radio devices with brand new single-use earbuds, which was a nice touch and meant we could hear everything clearly while walking around. The meeting instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and we were greeted by his wife at the meeting point which made everything straightforward and welcoming. Skipping the queues was a huge bonus, especially in the heat, and the ticket also included access to the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum which added great value. Our guide also pointed out places to refill water bottles during the tour, which was very appreciated on such a hot day. Overall, a very friendly, professional, informative, and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights of our trip to Rome.

Eni guided our small group of 4 and we couldn’t be more pleased. With a small group, we expected the slim-downed version, because of course fewer questions from the group and maybe less conversation. But Eni is a wealth of knowledge, he took the time to explain every detail and had us all very engaged. Great tour with nice people.

Great guide very knowledgeable and English was excellent and very easy to follow. They were accommodating when an issue arise with the original tour plan.

This tour was the best part of our Rome trip! Standing on the Colosseum floor was surreal and Eni’s stories brought the arena to life. The views from above were incredible, and the Forum and Palatine Hill made it even better.

We did the tour with Eni, it was the best experience ever! He was very knowledgble and attentive with everyone. We gonna come-back for sure and we’ll book more experiences!
