The guide picked us up at the restaurant we were eating breakfast at. He was on time and was bilingual. He was very knowledgeable, and had many videos of the area. My wife took the horse. The hike itself isn’t too bad. The pizza was good and they had everything setup for you to eat. The way down was a lot faster and easier. Enjoyed the experience!
Our guide Alfonso was amazing-really knew about the volcanoes in the area and was quick to suggest taking photos. Pizza was delicious- you had a choice of toppings. Hike was a little challenging but if you are in shape, not too hard.
We were picked up at 8 am and driven about an hour to the volcano. Once there we were greeted by Guicell, our guide. She provided us with 2 bottles of water and lead us on our way. She was very sweet and accommodating. I was a little slow going up and very out of breath at times and she made sure I was ok and gave me breaks as I needed. I would highly recommend her as your guide.
