Very enriching and educational; the guide was punctual and very attentive. We recommend the tour if you have little time and want to see the most emblematic sites of Antigua.
Our guide, Roberto, was a pure delight. Walk around with him and learn, in his animated and engaging style. He points out details about Antigua that you would never notice on your own. Roberto was born and raised here and loves his city, its people, culture, language, architecture and food. We did this tour on our first day here and that really helped us to get oriented here and appreciate our time here that much more.
We spent the morning walking around Antigua with Roberto and learned more about its history and rich culture. The tour was a nice balance of facts and fun. We discovered and toured places within Antigua we would have not found on our own and felt the 3-hours went by quickly.
Our guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable and accommodating and worked hard to ensure it was a positive experience.
Felix was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. He walked us to several interesting sites, and he told us lots about the history of Guatemala, the Maya, and Antigua itself.
Personally I think 40$ USD is extremely overpriced for the overall experience. Our guide, Roberto, did not give much context, insight or historically accurate explanations. Lots of personal stories, expressive reactions but not much actual information, with some false facts too. I do not recommend.
Roberto was very knowledgeable and delivered his information.ation with energy and passion. Thr history and development of the culture of Guatemala was well explained. We walked around and around and when he left us we didnt know where we were in relation to the central.park our meeting place.
