I had an absolutely wonderful tour with this guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained every historical site in great detail. He is patient, always keeps a warm smile, and answered all my questions thoughtfully.
What’s more, he takes amazing photos! He is super patient when taking pictures, perfect for girls who love taking photos while travelling.
As a girl travelling alone, I felt completely safe throughout the whole trip. He helped me solve every little problem I met along the way. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Samarkand!

Insightful tour and history of the city
Olimjon guided me on this tour and did an amazing job sharing the history not only about the mosques we visited but also Samarkand the city. We also visited a bazzar where you can taste dried fruits and nuts if you're interested in that. I also was able to eat a restaurant after the tour since I was hungry. My advice Is the have good amount of sleep before the tour since there's a lot of information to take in!

Olimjon is the best!
Don't think, just book! Olimjon is a great guy and a knowledgeable guide. We had a great morning 830 to 1400 doing all the major sites and had a lot of learning to do. He is patient, understanding and easy-going with no rushing and sufficient time at each location. We had some good banter along the way (language no issue) and the car pickups were very slick! 100% recommend without question.
Notes:
1. We did Amir Temur Mausoleum, Registan Sq, Bibi Khanum Mausoleum, Siyob Bazaar, Shah-i-Zinda necropolis.
2. You will have to pay the entrance fees for each of the venues which were in the region of 50,000 to 80,000 per person. ( The bazaar is obv free).
3. There was no pressure to buy anything and people give samples quite freely here so it's relaxed.

Outstanding experience!
Olimjon was great! 7 out of 5 stars. :-)
His English is outstanding. He was born and raised in the area and is a certified guide. He takes his time and lets you experience all that there is (and there's a lot).
And if there's a certification for Insta Photographer, he's earned it! Hand your camera over to the man. He knows all the right angles and can even suggest some good poses.

Great experience with Usman
I had a great experience with Usman. Incredibly kind and hospitable, and very flexible in letting you take the day at your own pace, lets you know also about other places to check out, very knowledgeable and gives great background on the history at each site and Uzbek culture broadly, made the whole experience so enjoyable. Personalized and highly professional tour
Olimjon was very professional, attentive to our needs and interests, accommodating and flexible with our possibilities and limitations. We learned a lot from his knowledge of the culture and history of Samarkand and Uzbekistan. What's more, we enjoyed it at our own pace. For example, he picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel at the end. He was already in contact by WhatsApp since reservation, so we could ask questions and also notify him when our plane was delayed. It was totally worth the price for an all-inclusive experience. It was helpful that he had a driver, so Olimjon could focus on us and give us helpful information even while riding between places. He gave us a very complete tour in about 6 hours, including even an unplanned stop that sounded interesting to us (a textile museum). We felt comfortable asking questions off the script, and Olimjon had knowledgeable answers to all of them. We highly recommend his services.
