This was overall a good introduction to the tea making and the beautiful sounds of koto. Lily was a very good hostess and a wonderful Koto player. She explained everything nicely and with a lot of patience and extremely smiling presence. Will definitely recommend as a taster in an hour.
This experience surpasses your typical canned tea ceremony celebrated by tourists. You are warmly welcomed into a personalized tea ceremony in a cozy environment surrounded by kimonos. What makes this ceremony unique is the love of the beautiful traditional harp which is played with the grace that Japan is known for. So wonderful to have that addition to the lovely tea ceremony where you learn to make smooth and refined matcha. This is an authentic experience!
