Definitely need a guide to spot anything at night. We enjoyed the tour- our guide Emmanuel was great and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Emmanuel was a really friendly knowledgeable guide who taught us a lot during our walk. We saw more wildlife than we expected to and looking through his night telescope gave us a close up view. He also took photos of what we saw and sent them to us which was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend!

Emmanuel was fantastic! We saw a rainbow toucan, glass frogs, a tarantula, a sloth, a howler monkey, owls, and so much more. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have spotted a thing. He was very knowledgeable and took excellent photos that he later shared with everyone.

We had a great time touring the cloud forest at night. Emanuel was so knowledgeable and skilled at finding animals we never would have spotted on our own. On our two hour walk we saw two species of toucans, monkeys, owls, several species of frogs, a porcupine and more. Excellent tour for the money.

One should definitely do this if one has a bit of interest in the local flora and fauna. We saw a sloth, a boa constrictor (baby), frogs, salamanders, and spiders.

The information says max 8 people in a group. It doesn’t say there are at least 4 other guides and at times we were all together looking for wildlife by the ponds. Not great. At other times 2 or 3 groups ended up at the same place and you found yourself being pushed out of the way by other visitors. Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information regarding the area we were in and the wildlife that we saw. Unfortunately I would not recommend due to the number of people and the noise they made.

At certain times, there may be a higher number of visitors, which can influence the flow of the tour. We also offer a private tour option with fewer participants at an additional cost for those who prefer a more personalized experience. I sincerely appreciate your comments, as they help me improve, and I hope that at least some moments during our time in the forest were enjoyable for you.
