This was a great sightseeing trip around London, with a tasty cream tea. There was prosecco, fruit juices, and water. We also had the choice of teas, coffe and hot chocolate, and we could keep our cups, a nice little souvenir. The girls serving on the bus were great. They gave us little fans, which were useful on a hot afternoon. We didn't originally book this bus, but we missed ours due to problems on the tube. They were so helpful rearranging us on to this trip. I really can't fault them, nothing seemed too much trouble. I fully recommend this company and will deffinately use them again.

Snowman bus tour
If you go on this tour don't book downstairs. We did and we were seated behind each other. Visibility is poor out of the windows. Luckily it was only an hour. Unfortunately we had a very aggressive driver which was upsetting but more upsetting is when Golden Tours customer service pretty much accused me of making it up. I expect if they leave an answer to this review it will be disparaging of us. The staff on the bus were nice but customer services are not up to par.
Buy a small picnic and take the 139 instead. Lots cheaper!

Rather flat and non atmospheric
We were so looking forward to this but it ended up rather flat and a bit of an anti climax. There wasn’t really a Christmas atmosphere and the people serving whilst smiling really didn’t seem to be that happy. The music played was a little loud but that’s just personal preference. Ok when everyone was singing along but not enough sing a long songs played. My grandsons didn’t recognise many to be able to sing along. The food was more than adequate especially the cakes and scones. Snowball was heavily watered down however. Seeing the lights without having to battle crowds was fun

Very disappointed
It was very cold and the bus was late we were told to arrive at 4:45 we had a call at £5:20 to say they had trouble with the bus it arrived a little after 5:30 by this time we were very cold
The staff were lovely and apologised
I did think we would have been offered hot drinks straightaway but we weren’t
We were given the cranberry spritz we had ordered which were flat
My husband glass was cracked and I didn’t drink mine
The hot drinks came which were lukewarm
I won’t be booking a tea bus tour again

Fantastic festive fun!
Absolutely loved this! Beautifully themed bus, excellent staff, delicious food, great selection of drinks. Takes longer than an hour because of traffic so bear this in mind if you have a later event to attend. Recommend the mulled wine!

Not quite as great as anticipated!
We did the singalong carols tour by bus to look at the lights and it was fairly disappointing. The check in was onerous (who has printed lists of guest names in today's day and age?) The bus we were on was obviously the one they use for their afternoon tea parties as it was very flower orientated and there was almost no attempt to make it "Christmassy" apart from a few lights... Biggest problem is that we were on the lower deck and our window had a cut out silhouette on half of it, obstructing the view of the lights - which is what we were there to see! Mulled wine was terrible, but the mince pie was nice. We were allowed to keep the plastic cup as a souvenir, but the printing on this was "The English Tea Bus" which makes it a pretty pointless reminder of a Christmas lights sightseeing trip!
