We are genuinely sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, particularly as our Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus is designed to create a fun and memorable experience for families. We would, however, like to clarify one important point for anyone reading this review. Contrary to the suggestion that your concerns were ignored, we did respond to your email and confirmed that the matters raised were being investigated. We have continued to treat your complaint seriously and invited supporting information to help us assess the concerns raised. The photographs provided have also been reviewed as part of this investigation. In the first photograph, the sandwiches appear fresh and do not support the description of the bread as stale or inedible. The second photograph shows the scones on the afternoon tea stand. Scones are served partway through the tour, approximately 30 to 40 minutes after departure, rather than immediately when guests board, so their appearance in a photograph taken later in the experience naturally differs from freshly plated food. As this investigation is still ongoing, we feel it is most appropriate and fair to all involved to continue our correspondence with you directly by email, rather than discuss the details of an individual complaint publicly. For future guests, we would also like to reassure you that the experience, including the Peppa-themed afternoon tea, sightseeing journey aboard our restored 1960s Routemaster and approximately 1.5 hours of themed entertainment, is presented in detail on our website, including photographs, videos and menu information. Our customer service team is also available before booking to answer questions or discuss any requirements. We are sorry that your experience did not leave you with the happy memories we aim to create, but we hope the above provides some useful clarification for those considering the experience.
