Beautiful town and fun trip. Nice to be driven there and back but not sure if just taking the train wouldn't have worked just as well. Guide was funny but light on history or novel information. Nice to have someone else do all the planning but if the budget is tight, could have done trip for much cheaper on my own. So, worthwhile but more about location than tour itself.
Terrific trip, sights , safety, guide. I dont need to add 50 more words and do not intend to.annoying festure
Very professional and friendly tour guide and bus driver. Both were very knowledgeable and approachable for answering questions. We had know idea what to expect with booking online, very pleased. We had a great time!
The Good: The Tour guide was fantastic, and very friendly and knowledgeable. Heidelberg was gorgeous. The Bad: We booked the tour only to Heidelberg which was originally scheduled to be back in Frankfurt by 3pm. When we got on the bus the tour guide explained that we where combining the tour with another tour which was a 2 hour additional drive. That would put us back after 9pm. We really still wanted to go to Heidelberg. He explained that if wanted to come back after Heidelberg that we would have to take a train back at our own expense. We had a very early flight the next day. And had plans in Frankfurt after 5. Not good service doing this at the last moment. Again the Tour guide was not the problem. Just very frustrating.
Our tour guide was great! It was a fun experience and got to have great food and do some souvenir shopping at the end! The city is beautiful.
The castle was amazing. See the wine barrels. Plan for time to explore the old town. Take pics from the bridge.

The guide kept repeating himself constantly. We heard these same phrases at least 3 times each. Gas prices are high, Frankfurt is not a tourist city, Frankfurt is a transit city for the airport, people fly to the airport and never have seen Frankfurt, Frankfurt has over 1,600 flights per day Frankfurt has just over 600,000 people in the city…. Now the good. Perfect day to see the beautiful city of Heidelberg. Find a different operator. Unless you want to hear the same mumbo jumbo over and over again.
Very interesting and fruitful experience. Meeting place can be more specific, though (include nearby hotel or major cross street) Driver/ Tour guide was professional, kind, patient and knowledgeable. Drive to and from Heidelberg was smooth.
Our tour guide was very knowledgable. He took time to show and explain details in history. I would recommend this tour.
