Overall, this experience was disappointing and did not match the itinerary description. While the transport between the cities (in a clean comfortable VAN) was fine, and we did get ta see the courtyard of the Heidelberg Castle, almost many of otherthings listed in the tour description was not cover. Except for the courtyard of the castle, we did not see the castle itself, and was given only 10 minutes of own time to see around. Heidelberg old twon sightseeing was only 10 minutes of free time to walk along the streets. Unfortunately, I paid for a comprehensive guided tour but only received a car ride to both cities and access to a single courtyard. Three stars because we at least made it to the destinations safely, but the itinerary needs to be seriously updated to reflect what is actually included.

Michael is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is a top notch tour guide. Michael felt like he was part of the family and his very kind hearted. It was an amazing day in two fairytale German towns. The castle in Heidelberg has a beautiful view and lots of historical art. Rothenburg is a very cute place and we had a nice lunch at one of the hotels there. I would highly recommend this tour. This tour is a must and you will love your time on this unforgettable day!

Michael was excellent. Knew all the history and cultural impacts. He was very friendly and wife and I travel and take tours every year and he was our best! The tour was awesome had I known how much we loved Rothenburg we would have stayed a night there. Castle tour was impressive as well. Overall a day well spent in good company.

We had an amazing experience with Michael booking Heidelberg city center and castle to Rothenburg. Michael provided a detailed review of the castle from decades past to current. Michael was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was professional, detailed, polite and we felt 100% very safe with him. I would encourage everyone to experience Heidelberg and Rothenburg with Michael being your guide. He also recommended a great restaurant for lunch, where we had delicious schnitzel.

Michael was a wonderful guide with lots of facts to share. There was a delay in the start but would still recommend. The vehicle was a comfortable ride.

Michael was very knowledgeable about history, vehicles, and architecture, and created a warm, personable experience. He adapted well to our small group, though once we left the vehicle the tour felt more hands-off than expected. It’s best for if you want guided transport between sites with the freedom to explore on your own. Given the distance traveled, fuel costs, and time involved, the price seems reasonable.

Michael, our guide, was a walking encyclopedia of history. It is obvious that historical knowledge is his passion. He was a wonderful guide.

Worth every penny! Beautiful Heidelberg castle and Rothenburg was out of a movie!!! I would highly recommend getting out of the city, learning history and exploring German villages!

The pick up spot is out front of the Le Meridien hotel lobby. Michael & Stefan were excellent driver/tour guides. Very knowledgeable and knew when to let us explore. I highly recommend this tour!
