An excellent experience, reasonably priced and thoroughly enjoyable. We loved Nick's commentary. He was knowledgeable and very engaging.

The bus driver refused to look at our ticket and claimed we werent at the right location for pickup even though it was the location and time on our ticket. After a protracted argument they allowed us on the bus. Although advertised as air conditioned, it was broken. Additionally dirty water leaked on us from the roof of the bus in both directions. Once there we waited for an hour for an airboat ride during which we saw a single alligator.

After buying tickets online, we received a helpful email instructing us to meet at Soundscape Park at 9:20am for the 9:35am tour. Arriving at the appointed place and time, we were surprised to be informed by the Bus Driver that the email was slightly imprecise. In fact, he said, we needed to have been at a completely different stop in Downtown Miami half an hour prior. In consequence, we were not welcome aboard his vehicle. Thence commenced 15 minutes of heated debate over the relative merits of email instructions and Bus Driver opinions. Finally the driver called his supervisor. A few minutes later he grudgingly permitted us onto the bus... which immediately proceeded to the Downtown Miami pickup location! The bus to which we had been admitted had a thrilling vibration and occasionally cracked windows. It relentlessly leaked water onto passengers; the AC system, inartful at producing cold air, generated streams of water with gusto and efficiency. But not merely hot and wet, the ride was, above all, dreary. The driver offered zero commentary and window decals cleverly obscured the view outside. Ninety minutes later we arrived at the Sawgrass Recreation Park. Before disembarking the driver outlined the schedule of events that awaited us. This schedule bore little resemblance to what actually happened. So, though reluctant to again contradict our glorious leader, I will describe the actual sequence of events, First, we enjoyed a humorous 15 minute presentation about crocodiles and alligators. We then hung round in semi-shade for an hour while a long line of enthusiasts poked a small muzzled reptile. Finally the moment we had been waiting for arrived and we boarded the airboat. Our 45 minute trip was a pleasant immersion in the famed Everglades, conducted beneath vast electrical transmission lines that stretched endlessly to the horizon. It was a rare chance to admire the infrastructure that powers the great state of Florida. We also saw the nose of one submerged alligator and several birds. Still, the airboat ride was fun and the captain entertaining. We then crowded back into the thin strip of shade on the deck for another half hour before returning to Miami. On the return trip, the bus driver, probably inspired by the rich rewards that his passengers had lavished on the Airboat Captain, requested a tip. No tips were forthcoming, perhaps because he didn't have a captains hat. In summary: 0/10 would not recommend. Surely there is a better Miami based Everglades tour. Note: We booked through Viator. It is impossible to speak to customer service, and they do not respond to email. Book at your own peril.

If you’re looking for something to do I can certainly recommend this trip. From the pick up in Miami centre our tour guide Ronet pointed out some of the sites as we drove through the city streets of Miami and out to the Everglades. Once out on to the water we had found some alligators fairly quickly and managed to get quite close for pictures. Once back on dry land it was down to the exhibit area where there are 2 x alligators and the keeper gave a very interesting talk on the alligators. Once finished you got a chance to touch a baby alligator.

The ride with Ronet in the Big Bus was amazing; he entertained us well during the trip. He told us a lot about the things around us. The airboat tour was incredibly exciting and really fun. We even had the chance to pet a baby alligator. The return trip was again handled by Ronet from Big Bus Miami, and he entertained us well once more.

Awful customer service. I clicked the coordinates link provided on the Viator app which took me to the completely wrong pickup point for the excursion. I tried to contact the tour operator through the number provided which took me to a line not in use. I then messaged them on the live chat seeking help finding the pickup point and received no response whatsoever. I requested a refund which has been rejected twice despite me providing proof through screenshots that the coordinates given to locate the pickup location are wrong, as well as a screenshot showing there was no response to my request for help. This is not how you treat customers. I’m sure everything is great when all is well, but if you require any assistance don’t expect any to come. Quick to keep your money though.

Superb trip out of Miami, coach on time and relaxing, loads of leg room, learnt a wee but about alligators but for me the airboat cruise was top, only downfall…. wish it could’ve gone even faster 😝

Brilliant trip! We loved our guide Ronet, he was so knowledgeable and funny, full of energy! We saw alligators, had a beer on the boat and enjoyed the alligator exhibition. All in all, a great tour! Highly recommend!

Ronet was a brilliant guide. Very entertaining and informative, perfect guy for an early morning tour as he got us excited. Very helpful and made the bus journey fly by as well as given us good food recommendation's. The Everglades trip was also good fun and very well organised.
