I had read mixed reviews and had received mixed messages about the hotel pick up ( Viator vs pineapple tours) and was slightly confused as to locations to hop off and on but it turned out to be a wonderful experience made even better by the fantastic cool sunshine ! The tour company whatsapped me 1-2 days before the tour to confirm that they would indeed pick me from my hotel which wasn’t in the list. Mel was punctual and efficient and very accommodating . Anthony - the hop on and off bus driver was ever so patient and helpful and tried his best to make sure we all had a good time. The Cedar falls walk and skywalk are worth doing as you get to enjoy the forest air and ancient trees. Gallery walk has really interesting shops and Anthony was great with his food recommendations. Suggest picking up a Mt Tamborine visitor guide and researching before heading up. Very little information available from the tour operator. Trip to and from the mountain excellent but on the day we went very disorganised at the changeover point for the hop on/off service wasting quite a bit of time while they got drivers and buses sorted.

Great day out. Antony was exceptionally friendly and fun. Lots of stories and interesting local information. Suited us fine but some people may not like the casual nature of the “hop on, hop off”. Our fellow travellers were all lovely so worked out fine but could have been tricky if you wanted to do specific things at certain times. You will enjoy this if you’re happy to go with the flow and see how the day takes you. Mount Tambourine is really beautiful and definitely worth a day trip.

We had the most amazing day we can highly recommend. We were so lucky to have Anthony as our guide he was absolutely brilliant so knowledgeable. He made our day and he is a credit to pineapple tours. thank you cannot wait to do another tour.

this is a great way to get to and from tambourine mountain but it is not a true hop on hop off experience. You need to choose 3 attractions. Also when I booked it was not clear that i could have booked a wine tour or paid for the glow worm tour.. I was very happy that we were able to get picked up from the JW marriott gold coast resort although it wasn’t on the hotel list

Lovely tour guide and good transport. Activities are not included and can be bought separately, for example the sky walk and glow worm cave.

Anthony seemed a bit flustered initially but it turned out to be a great tour. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I did Glow worms, Skywalk, Curtis Falls and Lookout all in plenty of time with no hanging about and great commentary from Anthony when appropriate . Would highly recommend and Plenty of Reasons to be Cheerful. Really enjoyed the day
