I'm glad that I took their combo walking tour and Accademia tour. It was a great overview for first-timers to Florence. I liked that the Accademia tour focused on just the highlights so that I didn't get overwhelmed as a novice to art appreciation. The only downside was finding the tour meeting location. The meeting location directions were a bit vague. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.
Laura was a fantastic tour guide. Knowledgeable, funny, dynamic, and really gifted at telling stories. She covered the history of the city, the tales of the Medicis, and development of the art and architecture. She had to repeat a little bit of the history when we visited the Accademia to see the real David as a few people joined our tour at the mid point, but she warned us ahead of time and handled it with grace. Her stories and insights into Michelangelo and sculpture were fascinating. Truly worth the price if Laura is your guide!
Do not do the combo tour. The wrong address is present for the walking tour part and we missed it and were told to come back an hour and a half later to enter the Accademia. We were told we would receive a partial refund for the tour we missed- THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. We reached out and were ignored. I will say they got the 2 stars bc the tour of the accademia was truly lovely and our guide was very knowledgeable.

The walking tour was nice and informative. It was only 90 mins, which was perfect for a quick tour. The Accademia tour was short and covered Michelangelo and a few paintings. It was a great short tour, especially for a granddaughter who was just about toured out.
Marta was an excellent tour guide who is clearly very passionate about Florentine history! Quick entry to see David was a bonus!
This tour was amazing. We had Greta as our guide and she was fantastic. She made the tour fun and really enjoyable for us. Her knowledge was outstanding.
We did this tour with our family of 5 -- three teenagers and mom and dad. It was a great combination to understand the city of Florence and also see David easily. There was a break where you could get a light lunch or take a rest on your own and you meet back up with your guide at the Academia Gallery so don't let the length intimidate you. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was a pleasure. There was also a Gelato treat right when you needed it.
