The guide did not show up to pick us up. We lost a whole day of our tour. The only thing viator would do id refund our money.

But we have rights and reasons to explain you about this inconvenience to you and for our potential future guest. In the morning on the day of the tour, our driver got unexpected accident. He got a flat tire. Early morning unfortunetaly a bit difficult for him to find a mechanic or a repair shop to help him to change the tire in the situation of rain too. We have inform you on WhatsApp about it and we try to call you many times but you haven't pick up the phone call. You also just read our message on WhatsApp and you didn't say anything. After a while you answer our phone call and RUDELY told us to cancel the tour. And it was only a 30-minute delay. You easily canceled the tour and said, "Never book with us again" in your one-star review. Does that make you feel victorious? Even though we already refunded your all money on viator. Do you think this is fair? Unfortunately, it isn't. You've left a very negative mark on Bali with your selfishness. Wish the GOD always protecting a negative person like you. Is a special trip that not everyone is eager for I guess. My wife works in funeral care and wanted to see this, Was a wonderful trip there and the lunch provided in a restaurant with fabulous views was more than exquisite.
Putu was a great tour guide. I really appreciated his energy - positive, calm, and grounded. He was well informed and navigated our preferences and pace thoughtfully, which made the day feel very natural and unforced. His English is very good, and communication was easy throughout. The trip itself was truly unique - a deeply cultural and emotionally powerful experience. Visiting a cemetery where the traditions around death and the afterlife are so different from Western customs can feel heavy at times, but Putu guided us through it with sensitivity and respect. His calm presence and cultural context made the experience feel meaningful rather than overwhelming, and helped us better understand and appreciate the depth of Balinese traditions.
Wayan Mawang was a brilliant guide, full of knowledge surrounding the area and the traditions. He was happy for any and all questions. Fascinating to see their process and view of death, the connection to karma and reincarnation. It is a small cemetery and short tour but something you don’t see everyday. Important to note for females wanting to do the tour, similar to entries to temples; you cannot enter the cemetery if on your period. Big thank you to Wayan for guiding us through the experience highly recommend him as your Tour guide!
