This was an amazing tour with such a diverse range of sites visited. From a cemetery with unique burials, to swimming in Batur Hot Springs, a traditional village with lunch in a bamboo forest, and waterfall swim. There were only three of us on the tour and Mooli explained Balinese culture and kept my daughters and I enthralled!

Great, unrushed experience with brilliant guide
We had a very fun and truly fascinating day with our brilliant guide, Raka. He picked us up from our hotel and was so friendly from the first minute to the last. It's a long day for the guides, but he never rushed us at all. It was like having a day out with a mate. We really enjoyed all four locations (all very different experiences!), and the place he recommended for lunch was incredible (great food and amazing views). Raka is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about Bali, and he was also just really easy to chat to. He also took lots of great photos and videos for us, which we really appreciate. Finally, we felt very relaxed as passengers in the car, so we both dropped off on the drive back. It was a very memorable day, so thank you! 🙂

Excellent trip
We’ve just got back to the hotel, after an excellent day tour to Trunyan cemetery,Hot springs,Penglipuran village and Tibumana waterfalls. Our guide Budi was informative and helpful on everything we asked about the places we visited and Bali in general.

An excellent tour
My husband and I spent a wonderful day exploring with our guide/driver, Mur.
Mur tailored our tour to match our physical abilities (my husband has had 7 knee surgeries). We felt very comfortable in Mur's capable hands from the start. It was fascinating to learn about Trunyan cemetary and the final resting place of its inhabitants' earthly remains. The experience was quite moving. After heading back over the lake by boat, we stopped and had lunch at a mountain top restaurant with a spectacular view.
A visit to Penglipuran Village rounded off our day which was fascinating.
A big shout out to Muri, whose knowledge and kindness helped make our day so enjoyable!

A perfect day at Trunyan, hot springs and a Balinese home
Fantastic day out with Ariana and Darma! We visited Trunyan Cemetery, the hot springs, and a traditional Balinese house, and every stop was well organized and easy. They explained the history and customs behind Trunyan in a way that made it much more meaningful than just looking around, and the hot springs afterwards were the perfect way to relax. Interesting to see a different culture. The rubbish there is a bit off putting but they are things left for the dead.

The funeral customs in Trunyan are deeply rooted in local animist traditions, where offerings, personal belongings, and items are left alongside the deceased as a sign of respect and passage to the afterlife. Because these items remain at the site naturally as part of the sacred ritual, the area can look quite different from standard tourist attractions. Wonderful experience!
I had a great trip thanks to my guide and driver Moolie. I ended up being the only person on the trip today and Moolie made sure I had everything I needed at each location. The cemetery was a fascinating experience and Moolie had lots of information about the specific practices. Highly recommended!
