サウスレイク・タホの風光明媚な自然ツアー

While our original booking was supposed to be for South Lake Tahoe, the rescheduling and booking in Tahoe City was fantastic. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and we ended up having a private tour.

This was a must do activity for us during our time around Lake Tahoe. The views were breathtaking and we learned so much about the lake and this area. Our guide was excellent. We had just 6 people on the tour so it was a nice small group. The breeze was quite strong that morning and it was a physically challenging 3 hours - we were both beat - and we are experienced kayakers. Even after we turned around we didn't really have a tail wind. It might have been easier if we'd rented a tandem kayak. We highly recommend this outing - the sights are fantastic and we found it worth it to have a guide take us out and share wonderful info with us. He didn't take any pics on the outing but we got a few of our own. We were also able to leave a bag at the tent during the outing which was helpful!

We had a nice experience on this tour. It was a leisurely sight-seeing paddle, but long enough that we were tired and ready to be done by then end. We thought the duration was just right, and our guide Natasha was good at gauging the interest level of the group to adjust our distance and speed. We also got to stop and swim at one point which was very fun. My main complaint was that there wasn't much detail about what time to be there and where to meet up with the guide. We arrived a little before 9:30 (our scheduled start time) and found our guide on the beach. It ended up working out fine, but it would have been nice to have more detail about if we needed to arrive early and where exactly to meet. Natasha was very laid-back and shared some interesting information about the lake and its history. The price seemed a little steep for the experience, but I think it was competitive with the going rate for tours like this. Also, the company that runs this tour (South Tahoe Kayak and Paddleboard) does walk-up rentals at their pop-up tent on the beach, so you have that option and it's a little cheaper, but you don't get the guided experience.

This was a great kayak tour! I had a blast and selas some great parts of Lake Tahoe! The only comment I would make is there are times the water gets a bit choppy. If you are newer to kayaking or have little experience you may be exhausted by the end.

Super group of people, as a new solo traveler made me feel safe and welcome.

Great experience! You will end up with a wet bum & feet so plan accordingly. Wear a hat & lather on the sunscreen. Ask all the questions because it makes it more interesting when there are things to learn about. Great fun!

Be ready for an arm workout with beautiful views and kind tour guides! Very informative and helpful!
