Flavio was amazing! I booked only a few days in advance and had my trip confirmed with no problems. He took me in his air-conditioned car around the island to some of the most beautiful spots there are to see. He was open to altering the itinerary while staying within our time frame. I could not recommend Flavio enough because he was quite the gentleman and an educated guide at all of our stops.

Flavio was very personable and knowledgeable. A lot of beautiful sights packed into half a day but it never felt rushed. Would highly recommend.

This private tour fit perfectly for 4 to 5 hour trip to see the main points of the island. Our guide was outstanding and surviving an excellent education on the island as well as some current events. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the half day tour with Flávio. What a wonderful day! I was only in Ponta Delgada for 24 hours and I made the most of it. Flávio is a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, safe and fun! It was just me so I was a little nervous at first but Flávio was the epitome of professional. I learned so much and had the most beautiful day. I don’t like big tour groups so this was perfect! He even dropped me off at a wonderful seafood restaurant. Delicious! You won’t regret booking this tour. It’s incredible!

The tour is great! Four hours after we landed in São Miguel, we had already been to a pineapple plantation, gorgeous ocean views and crater lakes...and we still had two hours to go!! Flavio was an excellent tour guide who navigated the roads well and gave us plenty of time to see everything we wanted to see. He knew all the information he needed to know for the tour, and we asked a lot more questions about the island, economy, people, tourism, etc. He had a great sense of humor and made the tour fun. There were three of us on our tour and we absolutely would do it again!
