Flavio made our tour of the lakes an unforgettable memory for both my mother at 84-years-old and my self at 53.
We had made some slight changes to the itinerary beforehand, and even during the day, Flavio accommodated the tour to our wishes (to go for a swim at the ocean).
Flavio was very knowledgeable and was great at explaining both history and the way of life at São Miguel. In addition to that, he was a calm and safe driver.
He deserves our best recommendations.

Flexibility with Flavio on Sao Miguel
Flavio was an excellent guide and his private tour was very reasonable. My wife and I took two full day tours so we had a lot of flexibility. Flavio rearranged our days so that we had maximum views and sunshine at each site. We didn’t miss a thing on Sao Miguel due to iffy weather. Thank you for two wonderful days, Flavio.

Incredible views and fascinating history
We took two different full day tours with São Miguel Exclusive Tours and both were amazing.
Flávio is an incredible guide. He picked us up at our hotel, and drove us all over the island, showing us breathtaking views, fascinating history and great food. All the while he shared local stories and was generally great company.
In terms of logistics he proactively communicated, and worked with us to move things around when the weather didn't cooperate, to make sure we'd get to see everything we wanted to see.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Great tour & guide!
We were on a cruise ship and we booked a private tour because we wanted to use our time the best way possible. We got that and more with Flavio. He was on time, very knowledgeable, friendly and a safe driver. We would recommend this tour to our friends and family.

Wonderful private tour in a comfortable car. Best way to see the island sights.
Had a wonderful time exploring the island with Flávio! He was an amazing guide who shared his love for his home with us and taught us so much about its history, industry and sights. We loved our first day of touring so much we immediately booked him for a second day so we could see more! I couldn’t recommend this tour company more. It is a beautiful island and this was absolutely the best way to see it.

The perfect introduction to Sao Miguel.
Our tour with Flavio / Sao Miguel Exclusive Tours was the perfect introduction to the island! Informative and personable, we learned so much about where we were visiting, and what a delight to not have to worry about navigation, parking etc. After our tour, Flavio even checked in with us to make sure that our visit to Sao Miguel was going well. Communication was timely and clear, and I am already recommending this tour to our friends back home.

incredible guide in Sao Miguel
Flavio was outstanding! He is very professional, knowledgeable, smart, and fun to be with!
we loved our two days with him… He customized everything for us according to our interests and the weather… He even took us in the evening to see the sunset on the west coast, and them to Ferreira to swim in the tidal pool during low tide at 10PM! was truly a special experience.
Highly recommend him!!
