Very nice and informative session on lovely rooftop setting. Our guide was very well-versed in the wines and methods we sampled, discussing the vintner’s methods and effects of the terroir and climate on the processes. We enjoyed the sampling of pairing wine with various tapas tastes and the effect of viable pairings on the enjoyment of the wines. Who knew about White Port and the body of the Rose? Fun session, lovely setting. Obligado!

Lovely time tasting different Douro wines led by Rita . Enjoyed chatting to the other people on the experience. Lasted about 1.5 hrs. The tapas plate of cheeses and ham, crackers and a fig jam worled well when trying them with the various wines. Finished the event with a Port made by the same company that made the wines.

Fabulous location and highly curated experience. Nice substitute for us as we did not have time to go to Douro but we got to sample their wines.

Rita was so good. She explained everything and allowed us the time we needed to enjoy each wine. Not rushed along at all. I was a solo traveller and I was sat with 4 other solo travellers. We had a great time and even went for drinks afterwards. The wine, and the white port, were all amazing as was the cheese and ham. The venue is beautiful and the staff amazing. Definitely worth booking this.
