Would 1000% recommend. We booked this last minute and we couldn’t reccomend it more. Sergio and Susanna were were incredible. Absolute highlight of the holiday. If we hear longer we would have done it again. We had such a lovely time on the boat with Susana and Sergio. There were 6 of us friends and they were both so welcoming and friendly. We were able to add our own choice of songs to the playlist, they made sure to top up our drinks, and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves without it ever feeling awkward or too formal. The charcuterie and wine were great, and the whole evening had such a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Susana and Sergio were amazing hosts and really made the experience. Would definitely recommend! We did the 6pm booking which was perfect for us.

The absolute highlight of our trip to Porto! Susana was a knowledgeable and informative guide, providing some great local facts about the area as well as some great food and wine. Sergio was a brilliant driver, taking us down the river all the way to the mouth. The views were incredible and I highly recommend doing the private hire for a more intimate experience as a couple or small group of friends.

The loveliest experience! We paid for a private tour and it was worth every penny. Susana and Sérgio are perfect hosts who clearly enjoy sharing their love and knowledge of their locality, plus they are delightful company. Their hospitality is second to none! Their boat is beautiful and the food and drink was both plentiful and of excellent quality. In the two hours we had, we travelled all way to the mouth of the river, and we were thrilled to be able to spend so much time near the nature reserve, as bird-watching is a passion of ours. Thank you Captain Sérgio for getting us so close! And Susana, we’re so happy that you got to see the flamingoes with us! PS Happy Anniversary for tomorrow! We spent a wonderful two hours cruising through Porto with Susana and Sergio, sipping wine and eating tapas. Being out on the Douro as the sun set and seeing the colours changing on the hills and buildings was a delight. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and relaxed from the beginning. They are both very knowledgeable about Porto and northern Portugal as a whole, happily providing us with recommendations of other beautiful places that are worth visiting when we return. If you want a private river cruise away from the crowds then this is the one to go for. We would have no hesitation in recommending their tour to any family and friends who are planning a trip to Porto.

Susana and her husband were great! We toured the river, looked at all of the bridges and saw the beautiful views you wouldn't be able to see on land! Susana provided drinks and snacks (you will be full :)) nonstop and made sure to accommodate our allergies. Highly recommend this peaceful beautiful baot experience.

This was a a lovely way to spend an afternoon on the water with friends, wine and a light repast. Even my husband, who is not a fan of boating or water, enjoyed it. Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend this when you are in Porto.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children under 3 years old. Susana and her husband were very accommodating, catered to us and the kids. This was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of the trip. If you are looking for a kid friendly private boat tour like I was this is it !
