This is a wonderful experience, Diego was most knowledgeable, the blankets gave extra warmth, and the hot chocolate was fabulous. Unfortunately, nature was not cooperative with good lights.

Great experience and first time seeing the northern lights
We had a great experience with Haukur as our guide! He was very attentive to the solar activity while we were driving to our destination so that we could make a couple stops on the way and see the Northern Lights at their peak. And it’s a good thing he did because they became quite a bit more dim afterward. The lights were beautiful and Haukur took some great photos of the sky and the tour group. Haukur was very knowledgeable about the science behind the lights, and it was really interesting to learn from him. Thanks so much Haukur!

Not worth it
The Guide was amazing! He did his best to try and find the lights but the money is not worth the trip! You’re basically paying to drive around for five hours. Should definitely be a cheaper price

A Magical Aurora Experience with an Incredibly Dedicated Guide
Our Aurora tour was unforgettable! Our guide Haukur Vagnsson was incredibly patient and persistent, driving for hours until we finally saw the Northern Lights around 1:00a.m. It was magical, and we even saw what looked like a rainbow in the sky. His dedication made the experience truly special. Highly recommend!

Bucket List Accomplished

The guide was great,...
The guide was great, funny and engaging. We were actively seeking the lights for the first half of the experience. I wish we would have continued looking for them vs. stopping for hot chocolate and then traveling back along a path with light pollution.

Such an amazing experience and display.
Devon our Guide was extremely knowledgeable and experienced.
He made our trip informative and enjoyable.
The lights put on a show that were absolutely extraordinary… What an experience.
To top it all off my
Partner proposed under the lights and Devon was gracious enough to take once in a lifetime photos of the event for us.

Simply the best for seeing the Northern Lights
Firstly, seeing the Northern Lights for the very first time, is an experience we will never forget. They were simply amazing. We’re so grateful to Hawk, our driver and guide. What an amenable, friendly guide and highly knowledgeable, on all aspects of the Northern Lights. Hawk was very experienced and took us to a place, where our chances of seeing the Northern Lights, was favourable. And that he did achieve. Hawk took several professional photos of all the group. Can’t wait to see our photos. We were delighted with the very clean toilets, for a bathroom break. To add to our comfort, Hawk gave us a cup of what can only be described, as the best hot chocolate ever. Plus a delicious Icelandic doughnut. Once again, many thanks to Hawk for giving us such wonderful memories, that we will treasure forever. We highly recommend seeing the Northern Lights with EastWest tours and should we ever get an opportunity to return to beautiful Iceland, we will only use this company.
