まずは吾妻橋で、隅田川と東京のスカイラインの素晴らしい景色を眺めながらツアーをスタート。 地域の歴史や、古都東京の玄関口としての重要性を知る。

700kgの赤提灯で有名なサンダーゲートや、火災による度重なる再建の物語など、象徴的なサンダーゲートの魅力的な歴史を探ります。 雷門と呼ばれる理由と日本文化における意義を知る。
地元のお菓子やお土産、工芸品など、昔ながらのお店が並ぶ賑やかな通りを散策。 ガイドが通りの起源やお寺巡りでの役割について語ります。

We did this walking tour on our first morning in Tokyo. Our guide, Yu, gave us an excellent introduction to Japanese temple customs and history. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Erik was a fantastic guide. He gave us so much information about Japan and the temples. He has a passion for Japan that comes through. He had an assistant today who was learning the tour who added more to the tour. It was worth every penny.

This is a very good visit to discover Asakusa: Japanese traditions, the birth of the neighborhood, experiences to live... Alexandre is a very good guide; we did not notice the time passing! And thank you for the little "surprise." ☺️

The guide was attentive and very pleasant; it is one of the rare tours in French in Tokyo. If you are a French speaker, do not hesitate.

This was a 10/10 experience! The tour guide was actually the Owner of the company. He gave me a great history of Tokyo, Edo, Buddhism and Shintoism! I really loved this tour! Make sure to bring coins for Temple offerings and cash for lucky tokens if needed. Also - my original guide was delayed due to an accident and the owner quickly stepped in and gave a top notch tour last minute. I very much appreciated the quick resolution.

We had a fantastic experience visiting Senso-ji Temple with a local guide today. It ended up feeling like a private tour since it was just the two of us, which made it extra special. Our guide, Yu, was wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and very engaging. She shared not only insights about the temple and Japanese religion, but also a lot about Tokyo’s history and culture—far beyond what we expected from the tour description. It was informative, personal, and really added depth to our visit. Highly recommended if you want more than just sightseeing and actually understand what you’re seeing.
