I didn't think it would be good to have it.

Too crowded and didn’t feel like a luxury experience, especially for the high price tag. Face mask was fun. Not a great cold plunge.

The Blue Lagoon can only be described, as one of the best experiences, that we have ever had. However, despite being very expensive, If we could only do one thing again in Iceland, it would be a return to the Blue Lagoon. The only issue was the pick-up service. We booked with Viator and were led to believe, that we would be picked up outside our hotel and taken directly to the Blue Lagoon. That wasn’t the case. You go by a shared bus, to the Bus Station and then have to wait for another bus, to drop you outside the Blue Lagoon. Despite this, we would still use Viator. The Blue Lagoon is a must-do in Iceland and we highly recommended it.

So beautiful!!! The weather was a mix of sunny at times, and light, brief rain. Being in the lagoon through it all was great. This is the most famous lagoon in the Reykjavik area, so expect to be around mainly tourists. There were a lot of people, but the lagoon is big, so I never felt like it was overly crowded. If you explore, you can find quiet, less-populated areas all around the lagoon. Also, the timed entry process helps manage the crowd size. The locker rooms were clean and organized. You must shower before you get into the lagoon. So, if you don't like walking around barefoot in shared showers, bring flip-flops/shower shoes. I purchased the Signature Package for my experience, and I think the time I spent at the lagoon was worth it.

Will totally choose Tripadvisor and go to Blue Lagoon again. Spectacular experience and beautiful food.

I was really happy to be at the blue lagoon the whole time we were there which wasn’t particularly long as we entered at 4pm. It was busy but not overly so and not too noisy so you could appreciate where you were and the surroundings. Tips - rinse your swimsuit and put in the machine for a couple of spins before leaving. Your wristband can locate your locker number if you forget at a check in point. Pick one that locks properly, no light flashing. Hard to see the exit without my glasses on but lots of staff. Do go, it’s on the way to and from the airport!

Beautiful experience at the Blue Lagoon. Trick is to go early before the hoards arrive. It was overcast and crappy out, but the lagoon is lovely, large, feels good, nice and warm with hot spots, quiet area, swim up bar... changing room and check in process is quick and smooth. They give you a towel and locker. Its well thought through. The cafe was so so and the main resto is pricey. Was early to parked near the entrance. I was looking forward to this and it did not dissapoint. I took my go pro with me and it was not an issue. I don't drink and appreciated the non-alch beer though other spa's in iceland had the non alch sparkling wine too.

Blue Lagoon felt very commercialised. Too many people were given access. It was not a restful experience as we were dodging people in the changing facilities and in the lagoon. All the people made it very noisy. There were lots of empty drinks glasses left on the lagoon sides which were not removed. Staff were lovely and proud of their jobs but for the amount paid this experience felt overrated and a tourist trap. Next time I will opt for the natural geothermal rivers and pools that draw less tourist attention. I do not recommend the Blue Lagoon mainly due to it not feeling like a retreat or place to relax, but more like a business and tourist haven.

So glad we stopped here after our early am arrival to Iceland. Fun, easy, and so relaxing soaking in the warm blue waters. The masks were fabulous, as were the shower and locker room facilities. Highly recommend!
