We did the food tour with Katrín on our first day in Iceland, and it was an amazing way to learn about Iceland through both its history and its food. Katrín shared so many interesting facts and stories throughout the tour, and we learned so much along the way. The food was fantastic, especially the lamb and Arctic char, which were two of our favorites. The hot dog line was so long that we were given vouchers to try them on our own, which, honestly, I appreciated because we had already eaten so much at that point and still had more food to come! Katrín was an amazing tour guide. She did such a great job getting to know everyone in the group and encouraging everyone to interact with one another, which made the experience feel really fun and personal. We learned so much from her, and this is definitely a must-do for anyone visiting Reykjavík. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to have Katrín as your guide!

This tour was outstanding. The food was delicious, and there was the perfect amount of walking time between places. Stevie was an amazing guide - he provided interesting information about Reykjavík and its history, had an in depth knowledge of the food and restaurants, and had stellar recommendations for the rest of our trip. This tour felt very special and I highly recommend it!!

Heidi was a great and very sociable guide. Got around and socialized with everyone in the group. Also gave us some great recommendations for all types of places. Would definitely recommend

We had a great time on this food tour! Freys was a wonderful guide! He not only taught us about the food, but also some of the history and traditions of Iceland. The food and drinks at every location were delicious. I loved ending the night with a hot dog and dessert. It was the perfect start to our Iceland vacation! Highly recommend.

Our tour guide, Jenny was amazing. We learned about the history and culture of Iceland as well as the food. I felt like I was very educated in regard to Icelandic cuisine. Not to mention how delicious it was!

The Food Tour with Dagur was a great experience. He was a nice and likeable guide with a bunch of stories, background information and funny anecdotes regarding the Icelandic history and cuisine culture. We enjoyed the food that was served in the different restaurants. Especially the ice cream at the end. We recommend the tour.

Had thor as a guide.. really really good... not just a lot of info about the food we were trying.. but alot of info about the city itself. Very good value for the dollar... we've done several food tours around the world and all usually gives you a fair portion. This tour had more food available than we could finish. So certainly when you see the regular prices at the restaurants and city.. and then see how much you get with this for the price.. almost seems like they could charge a bit more. Thor was great to chat with... he even gave us a recommendation for a dinner restaurant (uppi) and we went there and it was excellent. I would 100% recommend this tour and company... and agree with the guides that this should be a day 1 or 2 thing so you get a sense of the city and food.

What an amazing food tour! Katryn was an absolutely doll and shared so many fun tidbits in between our food stops. A must do!

All the food was excellent and a lot of it! Dagur was super friendly and knowledgeable. Very passionate about his job! He took such care to locate the one couple that was late!

Day was phenomenal! Found us straight away. Very friendly, informational, and had great anecdotes about living in Reykjavík. The food was great too! And although we couldn’t do the hotdog stand during the tour, he managed expectations well and the company had a solution for that (voucher for later).
