The tour was a ton of fun (and a ton of food) and our guide Dagur was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything we were curious about. He gave a full history of the area as well as the food for each stop, and made sure everything was taken care of so the tour went perfectly smoothly.
Our guide Karitas was so much fun! She got us to try local food I never would of imagined eating, but was so glad I (and everyone in our group) I did. Lots of interesting food and information. You need to go!
Well chosen places to visit. The food was great at each one. Kudos also to our guide Thor. It is wonderful when you are shown around by someone who is so clearly in love with his city and country. Thanks for the email at the end of the day with all the tips and your playlist of Icelandic music! I would not have minded at all if the tour was a longer with more gaps between stops to learn other things about the city.
Dagur was an excellent host providing us with his opinions and knowledge on the area. I would have liked a tour option that includes an alcoholic drink at some stops. This tour should be on everyone’s to-do list when visiting Iceland.
Had a fun tour with Agla, a young university student in Reykjavik. We ate some excellent lamb, cod, and Icelandic marriage cake (not a cake, fyi). She shared some great backstories and was very easy to chat with. Our young boys gave a thumbs-up to the lamb, the hot dog, and the Icelandic orange soda.
The food was so great and the walking was not overwhelming. We got to try a little bit of traditional Icelandic food and popular dishes here in Iceland.Freys was a great guide and really made the tour feel fun and safe. I’m really glad he took care of us because he made it feel more special. Over all 10/10 worth the money.
The food options were wonderful, and gave me a great introduction to Iceland’s cuisine. And Day was outstanding! He is incredibly knowledgeable and directed a great tour.
Day was engaging and kept the mood up, while being informative. I was impressed with how he interacted with everyone, including the little boy with us. The tour food selection was curated well and gave me a feel for the city. Would recommend this tour.
This is a great way to get a bit of the good, culture and history of Iceland. The food quality is excellent and our guide Agla was just lovely.
This tour was a lot of fun, and our guide Agla was great! I enjoyed the variety of dishes we sampled and even the fermented shark was interesting 😄 Our group was around a dozen people which made for a nice variety of conversation across the different stops without feeling crowded.
