ツアーガイドが、ジャカルタ中心部にあるホテルのロビーから午前 9 時頃にお迎えにあがります。
Glodokチャイナタウンを訪れることから、日帰りツアーを開始します。 「グロドック」と呼ばれるジャカルタ最古のチャイナタウン。開かれた市場、典型的な古い中国建築の小さなお店、小さな路地、そして魅力的なひび割れが、このエリアを写真家の楽園にしています。仏教の慈悲の女神、観音に捧げられたペタク センビラン中国寺院を訪れます。 1650年頃に建てられました。
その後、人形美術館へ。ジャワの革人形「ワヤン」の素晴らしいコレクションを含む古いオランダの植民地時代の家。インドネシアと世界の他の地域の木製の「ゴレック」人形と仮面。かつてのオランダ総督の墓地もここにありました。 その後、人形劇を楽しむために移動します。人形劇の非常に短い時間のショーで、「ダラン」またはパペット奏者によるエンターテイメントで疲れ果てます。英語でのショー パフォーマンスです。ショーが終了した後、人形の作り方も知ることができます。

その後、コタ インタンの跳ね橋に移動します。カリ ベサールの北端には、コタ インタン ドローブリッジと呼ばれる、市内で最後の 17 世紀のオランダの小さな跳ね橋があります。
最後に、スンダ ケラパ ハーバーを訪れます。 Taman Fatahillah の北 1 キロメートルにある Sunda Kelapa の旧港には、壮大なマカッサルのスクーナー (ピニシ) がたくさんいます。ここのドックの風景は何世紀にもわたってほとんど変化しておらず、ポーターがこれらの帆船から手とトロリーで貨物を降ろしています。悲しいことに、港自体は荒廃しており、その水域は最近グロテスクに汚染されています。

My tour guide, Tony, is a super star! He is a kind and compassionate person with a deep knowledge of the places he takes you to. My favorite is the Wayang shadow puppet workshop. We met the artisan who makes the puppets, explained his process and gave us a short show in english. I was able to buy some puppets and masks from the artist as well. We went through Chinatown before hand, the old harbor, and the town square. After the Wayang museum we went to the history museum. Tony had a lot of historical knowledge as well. It was such a memorable tour. Thank you Tony for an amazing tour!! I also felt safe as a solo female traveler.
The highlight was the visit to the Wayang (Shadow puppet) workshop where we had the opportunity to see the artisan on the work and learn the details of production of these wonderful art. At the end there was a performance in English. We bought some puppets and bookmarks to help the place to keep afloat. The market in Chinatown was nicer than we expected and we could discover local specialties. Our guide Tony was very kind, and if you don’t have any knowledge of the local history and arts it will do. He helped us to buy the fruits and talk to people in the market. Tour started about 40min later but it also ended later. Bring some snacks as there’s no stop for lunch.
Tony & Agus (the guides) brought me around the Jakarta Old Town (called Kota Tua) and it was an awesome experience. They're very knowledgeable guides who made the day pass by so quickly!
