Faith was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and kind. We had a great time trying different spots around Fairfax.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you had a great time exploring Fairfax with Faith and enjoyed discovering the neighborhood’s fantastic food. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with her! 😊
Penelope was great. She provided ongoing background info about the Fairfax District. The foods we tasted were from diverse cultures and we received good service everywhere. She accommodated us individually and was extremely personable.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the tour and the diverse tastings. It’s wonderful to hear that Penelope made the experience so engaging and personable while sharing the story of the Fairfax District. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back again soon!
Seriously overpriced for the food provided. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable but we can’t get over the skimpy food selection. Save your money and go on a different tour.
Thank you for your feedback, Steven, and we’re sorry to hear the portions felt insufficient for you. Our tours are designed to include multiple curated tastings that together form a full and satisfying meal, along with the cultural and historical context that makes each stop meaningful. We’re glad you enjoyed your guide, and we appreciate your perspective as we continue to refine the experience.
There was only 2 of us so we had Katie’s full attention and she was fantastic. She knows the history and the background around the area which we’re unfamiliar with so we learned a tremendous amount. The food selection was very good and the walking and stopping was just the right amount. Would recommend the tour and Katie to anyone.
We are so happy you enjoyed your visit with Katie! Thank you for your kind review!
Had a wonderful and interesting tour with Faith. Learned a lot about the neighborhood and sampled some delicious food. Foods that I probably would not have tried on my own. Faith was great!
Thank you for your review! We really appreciate it, and we’re so happy you enjoyed your experience!
I had great time exploring the food in the neighborhood. I happen to be the only person for the tour, which made it very special. I appreciate that the tour company still ran it! Faith was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the foods we sampled. I tried some that I otherwise would not. Highly recommend.
Thank you! We really appreciate your feedback, and we’re so happy you enjoyed your experience!
The guide, Katie, had a great personality and was full of information about the area. The food at the original farmers market was especially fun because you can be as adventurous as you want there! It’s a vibrant area of the city that I’m glad I took a few hours to explore!
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We’re so happy you enjoyed your visit!
This is my second tour with Delicious Dish Tours and they did not disappoint. We do not live far from the Farmer's Market but participating in the tour allowed us to appreciate this area we often passed. Our guide Jean was a hoot. She was knowledgeable of the history and I appreciated the selection of restos visited. This time I literally dragged my husband , who is not an adventurer nor curious, to come along. To my surprise, he had many questions for our guide who answered with ease. This is a perfect event to gift someone. Next month is my son's birthday and I will surprise him with a tour.
Excellent tour with a variety of cuisines. Our guide was super knowledgeable about food and history of the area. I’ve done many food tours and this was one of the best. So much fun!
Thank you so much for your feedback! We are happy you enjoyed your tour experience.
