Such an amazing experience with guides that make you feel like family. Nano and Bernie were fantastic at not only ensuring we got to see and swim with loads of whale sharks and rays, but also gave us a lot of history and insight and made sure everyone was safe and respectful of this incredible environment. Would 100% do this again and recommend to anyone who wants to experience this bucket list activity.

We had such a great time on this excursion! The guides got us super close to the whale sharks. Definitely an adventure to remember. Highly recommend!!

Best part of the trip! We were able to swim with 5+ whale sharks and left with amazing memories and an awesome video. Would recommend for anyone visiting the island during the season.

One of the most amazing ocean experiences I’ve ever had! Captain Juan and our guide were fantastic from start to finish. We were able to swim 3 times with these beautiful sharks. Always felt safe. Captain Juan did a superb job of finding us sharks to swim with and navigating the waters.

The excursion was amazing. Ricardo was a patient and engaging guide and Captain Juan was excellent. We had 3 opportunities to swim with the whales for each couple. You can bring your Go Pro but Ricardo will also take videos and sell them to you. It’s a good 1hr-1:20 to the site from Isla Mujeres on some pretty good chop so take your meds if you need them. We were lucky and saw 50+ Whale Sharks, several huge Mantas, and a small pod of dolphins that even breached for our enjoyment. We then headed back and stopped for 25 min of reef snorkeling although there are many better places to do that in the area so we just stayed on the boat and had a cerveza. We then pulled up to a nice (albeit crowded) beach where the Captain made some really good Guacamole and Ceviche. My only disappointment was that although transfers were supposed to be included I had to pay for my taxi back to the hotel. Also, they collect $15 pp for “dock fees” so be prepared. Those are the only things keeping it from a 5 star but that aside, this is a great trip.

The experience was incredible! The weather was perfect and our guides, Javier and Joseph, were nothing less than exceptional. They were able to find a constellation of 10+ Whale Sharks for us to swim with, with the added bonus of several large manta rays! I simply cannot recommend this tour enough for a once in a lifetime event. Fair warning, the swimming takes place far out at sea where the waves can be slightly rough, prepare accordingly for sea sickness!

Fantastic experience to be apart of. What is also fantastic, were this tight knit family crew. Their knowledge and hospitality were outstanding and brought comfort to myself, wife and kids. After finding a whale shark there was a point when other boats were bombarding the animal and we were directed by the crew that we would not be participating in this unethical activity. Instead we waiting until all was calm then proceeded with our turn. This brought me joy knowing that we were being ethical and respectful to the animal.

Had a great tour with Isa Sea Tours! Two very nice men. We swam twice with the whalesharks and it was so much fun! We got good instructions. Totally awesome!

This company was awesome. As far as professionalism, convenience, kindness and bang for your buck, you'll wanna go with these guys. Obviously everyone who does these tours has some kind of experience, these guys aren't rude or crass, they're friendly and know what they're doing. We had Joseph as our boat captain, and Javier as our guide, two chill guys. Javier let us know the run down about the conversation regulations, and even helped everyone out with their snorkel and goggles, which I've been on multiple excursions and sometimes they don't tell the newbies what to do and how to do it to get a thorough experience. We saw whale sharks, maybe 30? We were a group of 10 people, we were paired in group of 2, and we each got 2 rounds to go into the water and swim with these majestic tranquil fish. We even went snorkeling for a while after at a different location. Definitely would book this again. We had ceviche, beers, watermelon, sandwiches, waters...It's a cool trip. Won't take up your whole day, but 5-6hours, and it starts early, like 7:45am. Highly recommended. If you've read up to here, let me give you a tip; SWIM FAST. These whale sharks can pick up speed if they want, and you only have so much time to keep up with them and ahead of them. So, swim fast, swim hard, get a good view and footage. But, if you're not used to using the snorkel or swimming, practice before hand. Doesn't take a lot, but if you're familiar and comfortable with picking up speed and direction when you need to, you'll be fine and get the most out of this preserved beautiful creature in it's natural habitat.
