My guide, Danielle, was extraordinary; she was very engaging and picked me up right on time at the hotel. First, she took me to Anna Ruby Falls—which was like a dream, even though it rained lightly the whole way. Then we went to Helen for lunch, where I had time to walk around and visit the small museum. Afterward, she took me to Cottage Vineyard for a wine tasting—supposedly there were to be five wines, though I was told there would only be four—and on the way back to Atlanta, we stopped at a café.
