We had a lovely experience with everything, well organised communication, easy to get in touch and clarify if you have any issues or questions, very friendly and helpful staff which truly handled all our inquires at the best level possible. So far the experience was really good!

The best time in my life
I bought tickets for the Colosseum and Galleria Colonna, and Melany from Golden Ticket was incredibly helpful! Everything was arranged quickly and clearly, and I also received plenty of extra tips.

The Colosseum, a great Roman monument
Excellent experience at the Colosseum in Rome, a spectacular monument and definitely a wonder of the world
We traveled from far away to come see it and the whole experience was fantastic, the team that managed our visit called us before starting the tour and made sure that our visit was as pleasant as possible, truly very kind and professional, very grateful!!!

Nice place but Golden Ticket service is not great
I booked Golden Ticket through booking.com because I left it too late to buy tickets directly from the Colosseum. The tickets were more than double the price than booking directly. I booked a 9.30AM slot.
1 week before we went to Rome I was sent an email telling me that 9.30 was overbooked and to choose another time of 4 or 5PM.
The email came from a strange email address and went into my spam email. There was a lot of confusion contacting Golden Ticket and booking.com trying to find out when my new tickets would be sent to me .
There were huge queues to enter the Colosseum even with our tickets. The audio guide did not work on my phone but I shared my husbands audio guide. I did not find it useful in the Palatine Hill or Forum area because it is hard to know if what you are listening to corresponds to the ruined building you are looking at.
Don’t waste your money like I did ! Book your tickets nice and early directly from the Colosseum office . Or join a guided tour.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to clarify a few points.
In the “inclusions” section, it is clearly stated that the ticket price is €18 when purchased on the OFFICIAL website or directly at the Colosseum, without an audioguide. If you prefer, next time you can visit the attraction by waiting in line and purchasing the basic ticket.
As expected, the Colosseum is one of the most visited attractions in the world, so it is not unusual for it to be crowded. This is not a private visit.
As you mentioned, the audioguide worked on your husband’s phone but not on yours, which suggests the issue was related to your device.
Finally, it is unusual to state that the audioguide is not useful in the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, as these are large areas and the app includes GPS functionality, similar to Google Maps, to guide visitors to specific points of interest.

No tickets
No tickets upon arrival at the Colosseum , no warning just excuses. Terrible service . Would never use golden ticket again .

Very over officious staff! Rude uninterested staff the colosseum deserves far better!!
As above a very sad indictment of over commercialism, uninterested staff that are entirely non customer focused. They would not be employed in private industry as they would need to actually make some effort during their working day.
A great shame as I have been so looking forward to seeing this incredible place and felt very disappointed at the total apathy of all the staff we encountered.
The monument needless to say is awe inspiring and deserves far better.
